Loaded 0 - 3 Eleven

It had rained all day, but 49317 hardy fans still made it out to Field of Dreams. Torben Krage was the appointed referee with assistance provided by and . Loaded decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Starters: Canuto - Sies, Dotzauer, Tănase - Kürkçü, Molero, Pasero, Stoicescu, Hermida - Kolppanen, Akkor.

Eleven tactics involved an interesting 2-5-3 combination. Lineup: Turner - Bains, Eades - Shewan, Johnson, Iredell, Roberts, Fletcher - Andrews, Smith, Gardner.

Loaded clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could, taking advantage of their formidable level with that tactic. The guests almost went up by a goal after 24 minutes when Duncan Smith came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though. Good work by the Loaded defensive line after 25 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found Naip Akkor alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. 32 minutes in, Eleven's Richard Johnson received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Frazer Gardner of Eleven seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 0 - 1 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by Frazer Eades. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 1. Eleven claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.

After 48 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed Jim Iredell to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 2. Eleven increased their lead after 62 minutes when Jim Iredell broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay. The players of Eleven now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Eleven's Jim Iredell had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 77 minutes having been played. Ewan Tyas was the replacement. The game was characterised by rough play and many physical challenges on the wet field, but Oliver Bains showed great heart and had a good game. 79 minutes into the match, Richard Johnson came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. Richard Johnson knew he was in trouble after hacking down an opponent. Despite his pleading with the referee, the Eleven player was shown a second yellow card and dismissed from the game. Ben Fletcher was handed the Eleven captain's armband. Janne Kolppanen tried to get a goal back for Loaded but despite all his hard work down the right, he just couldn't complete the move. After 85 minutes, Loaded switched Antonio Pasero with Justo Teruel, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. Possession in this half belonged to Eleven, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

Naip Akkor performed admirably for Loaded. Justo Teruel turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Eleven player was Oliver Bains. Mark Andrews was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 3.
