46401 spectators had come to Metaldome this cloudy day. Luigi Arena was the appointed referee with assistance provided by and Bence Sziklai. A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Picasso1. The following players took the field: Merkelbach - Gennari, Bove - Paccagnella, Ubbink, Di Carlofelice, Vidas, Húshovski - Duyzend, de Roo, Launay.

Rulesz decided to use a 3-4-3 set up. Lineup: Abbas - Hyér, Coelho, Cioc - Hochreutener, Cantón, Bøgeskov, Ciobanu - Savunur, Habar, Petsalnikos.

Frédéric Launay caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 36 minutes. This gave Picasso1 the 1 - 0 lead. After 40 minutes, Picasso1's Veselin Húshovski swiftly ran past Israel Cantón and nutmegged the keeper! 2 - 0. After this, you could see that the players of Picasso1 were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Picasso1's Frédéric Launay increasing the lead to 3 - 0. Frédéric Launay had a fantastic opportunity to put Picasso1 up another goal 43 minutes into the match after a pass through the middle set him free, but he fired just over the crossbar. After 44 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by Veselin Húshovski might have resulted in another goal for Picasso1. However, Qabil Abbas made a spectacular save. 3 - 0 was the score after the first half. Picasso1 enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 58 percent of possession.

The bench was restless, and with 46 minutes passed Rulesz's coach gave Joan Carles Puig the opportunity the player had been hoping for. Ninos Petsalnikos reluctantly left the field. With 46 minutes played, the Rulesz coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. Valentí Adam came on, Israel Cantón had to leave the fray. Rulesz needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 46 minutes Victor Ciobanu made way for Cesáreo Desxpro. Antonino Di Carlofelice of Picasso1 seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 4 - 0 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by Pero Vidas. 77 minutes into the match Rulesz's Oscar Hyér head butted an opponent nastily, and so the referee sent him off immediately. Coming from the right, Mats de Roo almost managed to score another goal for Picasso1, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. Picasso1 were able to mount several counterattacks, such as the impressive one after 82 minutes, but Pero Vidas lofted a free kick over the crossbar. Picasso1's Vito Paccagnella saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 83 minutes. Picasso1 claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.

Timo Duyzend performed admirably for Picasso1. However, Vito Paccagnella made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Rulesz player was without a doubt Alper Savunur. On the other hand, Cesáreo Desxpro's play was disheartening. The match ends 4 - 0.
