It had rained all day, but 316 hardy fans still made it out to K Arena. Sigmund Prucker was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Niklas Kindblom and Matias Mäkelä. slaver started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Vogg - Enevoldsen, Omwayo, Norup - Linde, Jürgensen, Pries, Lazović, Shashi - Huus, Boelt.

SparkMig had chosen a strategic 3-4-3 formation. They fielded: Leicht - Kausti, Dobrzeniecki, Dabelsteen - Lukkari, Spur, Rubinke, Morup - Lundorff, de Jesus, Karlsson.

The strategy for slaver was to use their weak ability to press. SparkMig mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle, taking advantage of their brilliant level with that tactic. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 3 minutes into the match left SparkMig's Evald Lundorff completely free to score. 0 - 1 for the visitors. The visitors' Steffen Rubinke took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 10 minutes into the match. 0 - 2 for SparkMig. After 21 minutes slaver's Eskild Norup limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. 23 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 3 as Linus Karlsson finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Confident in their lead, SparkMig's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. The game was characterised by rough play and many physical challenges on the wet field, but Tomasz Dobrzeniecki showed great heart and had a good game. After 37 minutes, SparkMig's Claus Spur burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 4. The boggy pitch disrupted the game, especially for technical players like Jannik Enevoldsen. slaver's talent at pressing frustrated the spectators as the game became a dire midfield struggle. It was 0 - 4 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by SparkMig, with 70 percent of the ball.

slaver's Eskild Norup found himself alone on the left side 57 minutes into the match and laid down a perfect shot - right into the arms of the keeper! After the ball was lifted in from the left, Daniel de Jesus was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 64 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. With 68 minutes played, SparkMig put themselves up 0 - 5 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Daniel de Jesus. Some fine movement on the left led to a SparkMig goal after 71 minutes, making it 0 - 6. Linus Karlsson was noted down as the scorer. Riku Lukkari made one of his many fine passes from the wing into the middle 72 minutes into the match. Linus Karlsson bravely attempted to execute a diving header and the ball was met firmly with his forehead for SparkMig. 0 - 7. At that, Linus Karlsson was noted down for a hat trick! After 79 minutes, SparkMig were awarded a free kick. Rather than shooting straight at goal, the taker went for an indirect variant which seemed to take his team mates a bit by surprise. Daniel de Jesus did attempt a finish, but from an awkward position, sending the ball into the away fans. SparkMig had most of the ball, with 76 percent of possession.

slaver's best player was Anton Huus. On the other hand, Saka Omwayo's play was disheartening. Evald Lundorff performed admirably for SparkMig. Tomasz Dobrzeniecki on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 7.
