56000 spectators arrived at Csurma, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. José Alberto Catalão was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Pentti Korkeaniemi and Gerçek Cüret. Lineup: Oliati - Lefebvre, El-Hassani, Ramskär, Takhar - Schädler, Bendixen, Natalicchio, Smolek - Gallot, Eigenmann.

The following players had been chosen: Scardovi - Papp, Jávor, Podaný - Cereseto, Comunian, Vidáts, Bolla, Krajc - Szemancsik, Violi.

Gerincszorongató S.E. entered the field in a 4-4-2 formation. The visitors, Tottinho, chose to start the game with a 3-5-2 lineup. Gerincszorongató were relying on their magical ability to counter-attack. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 19 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from Jonathan Lefebvre, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. Gerincszorongató showed their counterattack skill 24 minutes into the match by breaking through the middle, with Marcel Smolek scoring uncontested for 2 - 0. With clinical precision, the cross from winger Marcel Smolek found its way to Sébastien Gallot's head, and a screaming header gave Gerincszorongató the goal after 26 minutes played. 3 - 0 Gerincszorongató put themselves up 4 - 0 when Roberto Natalicchio broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. After 36 minutes Gerincszorongató tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately, Jonathan Lefebvre's shot sailed wide after his break down the right. Halftime score was 4 - 0. Tottinho had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.

With 54 minutes played, Gerincszorongató put themselves up 5 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to Sébastien Gallot, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. The visitors replied 66 minutes into the game, reducing the home side's lead to 5 - 1, as Lukáš Krajc dashed up the middle, easily lobbing the ball over the home team's keeper. Tottinho kept trying to force their way through on the right side and Zsombor Szemancsik got his chance after 76 minutes, but the home side's defence held their position and stopped the attack. Roberto Natalicchio increased the lead for Gerincszorongató to 6 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! The bench was restless, and with 89 minutes passed Tottinho's coach gave Csaba Thurzó the opportunity the player had been hoping for. Zsombor Szemancsik reluctantly left the field. As the game started to slip away for Tottinho, the manager decided to change the tactical approach. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Tottinho's Lukáš Krajc was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 89 minutes. Karlo Bodrožić was given a chance to change things around. The referee announced 2 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. The match ends 6 - 1. Tottinho claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 56 percent.

The most dominating Gerincszorongató player was without a doubt Sébastien Gallot. Norm Takhar on the other hand, had a terrible day. Gregorio Violi performed admirably for Tottinho. Karlo Bodrožić turned in a dismal performance, however.
