Sdaizu 8 - 1 E.S.S

Due to an all-day shower, 2573 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at Sdaizu Arena. Mirco Oester was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Patrick Oosterhof and Bi Hy. They fielded: Mjelde - Čorić, Boară, Schroeder - Viskil, Quốc Thái, Hagen, Sequeira Silva, Guiza - Rada, Walenkamp.

The following players had been chosen: Obrębski - Sévin, Wisgerhof, El-Amrani - Lima, Robin, Charles, Gillet - Pytko, Olivier, Hoareau.

Sdaizu started the game in a 3-5-2 formation, whereas ES Stotzheim lined up in a 3-4-3 formation. It was an obvious ambition of Sdaizu to use their utopian ability at attacking on the flanks. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 10 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from Kenneth Walenkamp, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. Given a free kick close to the byline, Sdaizu tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let Kenneth Walenkamp slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 2 - 0, 29 minutes into the game. Sdaizu had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. Sdaizu increased the lead as Kenneth Walenkamp struck to make the score 3 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. By then Kenneth Walenkamp had scored three goals - a hat trick! Sdaizu managed to extend their lead to 4 - 0 when Kenneth Walenkamp cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. The teams went for the halftime break at 4 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Sdaizu, with 73 percent of the ball.

Although the whole team were struggling to impress, E.S.S's Clément Hoareau was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 46 minutes. Sorin Jurcan was given a chance to change things around. With 46 minutes played, the E.S.S coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. Domingo Rafael Carrillo came on, Ramiro Lima had to leave the fray. 55 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Hans Jarle Hagen broke through, making the score 5 - 0 for Sdaizu. A bit later, E.S.S's Domingo Rafael Carrillo easily reduced the lead to 5 - 1 after a misunderstanding in the home side's central defence. With 72 minutes played, Sdaizu put themselves up 6 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to Hans Jarle Hagen, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. With 80 minutes played, Jean-Loup Gillet of E.S.S fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Pavao Čorić spent most of the time in a heap on the ground today, his normally rapid movement hindered by the slippery pitch. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Sdaizu scored another to make it 7 - 1 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for Iustin Rada after 83 minutes. Sdaizu put themselves up 8 - 1 when Paulo Domingos Sequeira Silva broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 2 minutes as stoppage time. The match ends 8 - 1. Sdaizu claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 74 percent.

Most important Sdaizu player was Iustin Rada. Costantino Schroeder on the other hand, had a terrible day. E.S.S's top performer was clearly Élouan Olivier. Domingo Rafael Carrillo turned in a dismal performance, however.
