A scorching day at Sdaizu Arena, where 32753 spectators were in place for today's match. Stéphane Le Ster was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Lothar Schnell and Agostinho Ávila. Fans of both teams had been eagerly awaiting this Emilia Romagna derby and were doing their best to outshout their opponents. The following players had been chosen: Mjelde - Čorić, Boară, Viskil - Guiza, Quốc Thái, Hagen, Sequeira Silva, Lohbrügge - Rada, Lóczi.

The following players took the field: Burel - Chiriatti, Cileone, Toffanello - D'Errico, Tormettino, Borsi, Kwong, Costanza - Pistono, Vermote.

As the teams spread out over the pitch, it became clear that they would both be using a 3-5-2 formation today. It was obvious that Sdaizu were using their formidable pressing skill as their primary tactic. Sdaizu's ability to press all over the field frequently paid dividends. Brasabbada's Stefano D'Errico got himself booked for a foul. David Lohbrügge went down after twisting his right ankle in minute 16, but was able to continue the match none the less. Vittorio Cileone had a good try after 23 minutes, coming in on a fine move from the left, but the ball went wide. 27 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Sdaizu was Balázs Lóczi. Sdaizu's Balázs Lóczi had an excellent opportunity after 37 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! Some brilliant football from the visitors' right wing resulted in a levelling of the score as Brasabbada's Cristian Costanza put the ball in the onion bag after 38 minutes to make it 1 - 1. Sdaizu were very close to putting themselves one up after 41 minutes as David Lohbrügge got through on the left. However, his concentration failed him, and he shot wide. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1. Sdaizu had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.

Federico Tormettino came close to putting the visiting team one up 47 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but Ole Mjelde managed to tip the ball to a corner. 48 minutes into the game, Massimiliano Pistono almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. The Brasabbada coach adjusted their lineup with 54 minutes gone. Oscar Kwong and Paolo Borsi assumed each other's positions. After 55 minutes, the Brasabbada coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Gianluca Toffanello off the field. Silvio Achilles took his place. With 55 minutes gone, Brasabbada's Stefano D'Errico had to leave the pitch after talking back to the referee and receiving his second booking. Hauke Vermote was handed the Brasabbada captain's armband. With 59 minutes played, Cristian Costanza of Brasabbada fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. 60 minutes into the match, the Brasabbada manager wanted to try a new tactic, and the players loyally obliged. After 64 minutes, a deliberate handball from Brasabbada's Cristian Costanza was judged to be his second bookable offence, and he was sent off. The fierce heat made it important to save breath, and after a few swift runs Pavao Čorić found it hard to get back into position. Sdaizu pressed their opponents, causing the game to be a bit of a stalemate at times. Balázs Lóczi would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Kenneth Walenkamp entered the game for Sdaizu as the match clock showed 70 minutes. 70 minutes into the game, Brasabbada wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Hauke Vermote gave Konrad Kępa a quick hug as he left the field. Oscar Kwong became the new Brasabbada captain. 73 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Sdaizu substitution. Maximilian Anashkin came on for Paulo Domingos Sequeira Silva. As the 75 minute mark approached, the Sdaizu coach decided it was time for a substitution. Iustin Rada reluctantly made way for Grzegorz Czapor on the pitch. After 79 minutes, the Sdaizu manager redeployed his men. Pavao Čorić swapped positions with Adrian Boară. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 1 minute as stoppage time. The match ends 1 - 1. Sdaizu claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

The most dominating Sdaizu player was without a doubt Efraín Guiza. However, Ole Mjelde made a disastrous appearance. Brasabbada's best player was Vittorio Cileone. Konrad Kępa was a disappointment, however.
