The crowd of 23078 turning up at Estadio de la Revolución Berlin (QQQQK-Memorial) today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Iikka Ristolainen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Sander Holsappel and 優 (Yutaka) 遠藤 (Endo). Lineup: Khalatbari - Strnad, Bajo Fernández - Bruschera, 聪嵘 (Congrong), 辉光 (Huiguang), Ghidini, Quiroga - Cobián, Seif, Pagello.

The following players took the field: Afrough - Tchigrinskiy, Lochmann, Eschilo - Caner, Voggenhuber, Kleus, Kaub, Weinzierl - Kibet, Taracena.

Rep. of Sadistan fielded a 2-5-3 lineup. For TUS Plautzenburg, the formation of choice was 3-5-2. Always quick and a menace to his opponents, Leandro Bruschera was very close to getting through after 15 minutes, but he could only put the ball into the keeper's arms. The referee showed Plautzenburg's Sergio Taracena the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 袁 (Yuan) 聪嵘 (Congrong) was unable to continue, following a slight injury to his right knee after 17 minutes. This gave Rodrigo Nogues a chance to take to the field instead. With 袁 (Yuan) 聪嵘 (Congrong) no longer on the pitch, Leandro Bruschera became the new set pieces taker. With 18 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending. Ippolito Eschilo put the ball away for 0 - 1. One of many good crosses from Leandro Bruschera on the wing was received and skillfully taken care of by Shady Seif, who scored for Sadistan. 1 - 1 Sadistan broke through on the left 33 minutes into the game, with Shady Seif firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 2 - 1 lead. Leandro Bruschera slipped and slithered in the wet grass. His usual rapid runs were nowhere to be seen today. The visitors didn't give in and, after 40 minutes, Fabian Kleus got through the home side's central line of defence, rolling in the equaliser to make it 2 - 2. Plautzenburg's Fabian Kleus was shown a yellow card after 42 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Sadistan's Samuel Cobián hurt his back 42 minutes into the match. He was eager to leave the pitch as soon as possible to get treatment underway. Laurean Obedeanu had already been warming up, and came on for Samuel Cobián. The muddy pitch made the game a gritty affair, which seemed to suit Selman Caner just fine. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Sadistan, with 52 percent of the ball.

Abramo Pagello gave Sadistan the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 3 - 2 Sadistan put themselves up 4 - 2 when Valfredo Quiroga broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. Leandro Bruschera wanted to play on, but the Sadistan coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 75 minutes into the game by Uba Aloma. As Leandro Bruschera left the field, the coach signaled to Pedro Bajo Fernández to be the new set pieces taker. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 3 minutes of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 4 - 2. Sadistan enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

Most important Sadistan player was Shady Seif. Karsten Strnad was a disappointment, however. Sergio Taracena performed admirably for Plautzenburg. Fabian Kleus on the other hand, had a terrible day.
