30071 spectators arrived at Bernd-Hölzenbein-Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Stephan Ostertag was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Witold Cios and Eduard Lupu. They fielded: Petery - Ribes, Hadorn - Esmonde-Cleary, Siglhuber, Lanconelli, Mordalski, Matei - Dieben, Mills, Hertle.

Starters: Schönitz - Fuchs von Grünfeld, Schoger, Kuhn - Braun, Markhardt, Balık, Qauoomgi, Kubin - Lewenbauer, Vukešin.

Qashqai Tigers entered the field in a 2-5-3 formation. The visitors, Bembelrangers, chose to start the game with a 3-5-2 lineup. Bembelrangers used their solid skill at pressing to cut off the attack angles of their opponents all over the field. With 4 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as Laurenz Dieben flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Tigers to 2 - 0 as Boris Hertle finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Tigers's Detlef Hadorn got himself booked for a foul. A slight injury to his right calf muscle meant Stan Siglhuber had to leave the match early. It happened after 25 minutes. The player that took his place was Henryk Dybała. Tigers put themselves up 3 - 0 when Andrea Lanconelli broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. Jacob Adrian Markhardt went down after twisting his left ankle after 38 minutes, and had to leave the pitch. This gave Harald Georg von der Groeben a chance to take to the field instead. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, Rolf Braun took over the role of being the Bembelrangers captain. 3 - 0 was the halftime score. Tigers claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 56 percent.

50 minutes into the game, Tigers had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to passable. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Scott Esmonde-Cleary from Tigers a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 65 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Hermut Fuchs von Grünfeld was unable to continue, following a slight injury to his left knee after 65 minutes. Marcel Gritu had already been warming up, and came on for Hermut Fuchs von Grünfeld. A free kick just outside of the visitors' penalty area after 66 minutes could have resulted in another goal, but Dennis Schönitz got a hand out and tipped the ball over the bar. With 78 minutes played, Andrea Lanconelli of Tigers fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. 80 minutes into the match Benjamí Mills put Tigers ahead 4 - 0 with a truly marvelous free kick. After 83 minutes, speedy Boris Hertle dashed past his marker, making plenty of room for the second wave of attack. However, Scott Esmonde-Cleary failed to score. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 3 minutes of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 4 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Tigers, with 55 percent of the ball.

Most important Tigers player was Przemysław Mordalski. However, Benjamí Mills made a disastrous appearance. Bembelrangers's best player was Marvin Gordon Lewenbauer. Marcel Gritu on the other hand, had a terrible day.
