Oaos 5 - 0 MUNICH

The crowd of 9823 turning up at Oaos FC Arena today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Mark Lüthje was the appointed referee with assistance provided by and Daniel Mendes. Everyone was excited about the upcoming Metropolitana derby and the crowd was divided evenly. They fielded: Caroca - Aizpuru, Valdivieso, Mery - Torres, Abbiati, Frias, Mínguez, Hernández - Pastene, Bianchi.

Lineup: Remedy - Ruiz, Oviedo, Andraca, Vergara - Lavín, Lemp, Redole, Borghi - Rodríguez, Inclán.

Oaos FC fielded a 3-5-2 lineup. For BHH BAYER MUNICH UFF, the formation of choice was 4-4-2. Oaos clearly preferred using their brilliant ability to attack in the middle. Roberto Inclán, who often relies on his speed, had a rotten day on the drenched grass. Oaos players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. Rodrigo Torres gave Oaos the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0 MUNICH's Juan Luis Ruiz left the field after 32 minutes having twisted his hand in a collision, causing a slight injury. The replacement for the injured player was Yosimar Soto. José Manuel Remedy was handed the MUNICH captain's armband. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Oaos to 2 - 0 as Kalisaya Bianchi finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Fernando Andraca was in no condition to play on. He left the field limping after 40 minutes, with his left thigh bandaged. This gave Lourenço Gonçalves a chance to take to the field instead. Audónico Lemp was uncomfortable with the soggy pitch as he couldn't move the ball around with his usual grace. After 43 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by Pedro Pastene might have resulted in another goal for Oaos. However, José Manuel Remedy made a spectacular save. Leoncio Mery was having a great game - if anything the pouring rain seemed to be spurring him on! The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 0. Oaos claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.

Oaos had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Pedro Pastene squirmed through their central defence after 64 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 0. Oaos solidified their lead at the 70 minute mark, as Leoncio Mery dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 4 - 0. Oaos's Pedro Pastene saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 80 minutes. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Oaos's Pedro Pastene increasing the lead to 5 - 0. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 2 minutes of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 5 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Oaos, who controlled the ball 64 percent of the time.

Oaos's best player was Kalisaya Bianchi. Leoncio Mery was a disappointment, however. MUNICH's top performer was clearly Audónico Lemp. On the other hand, Telmo Oviedo's play was disheartening.
