turttles 6 - 3 dream

Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 10135 to turttles Arena. Andre Lochhausen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Rastislav Mäkký and Adam Arsenie. The following players had been chosen: Shuart - Egnatz, Arellano, Cimmarusti, Schilling - Aguirre, Lennox, Dominguez, Seay - Satterfield, Miramón.

Starters: Bingaman - Samson, Purvis, Kauper, Cabrera - Bell, Goodman, Goldsmith, Stenzel - Bronson, Tolleson.

As the teams spread out over the pitch, it became clear that they would both be using a 4-4-2 formation today. turttles took the lead 3 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as Rob Dominguez elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. With 11 minutes played, turttles put themselves up 2 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to Bruno Miramón, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. The visitors replied 23 minutes into the game, reducing the home side's lead to 2 - 1, as Kurt Goldsmith dashed up the middle, easily lobbing the ball over the home team's keeper. With 31 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, Rob Dominguez needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. After 32 minutes, dream sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached Milan Tolleson, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 2 - 2. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, Reinaldo Aguirre scored for turttles putting them ahead 3 - 2, after 39 minutes. 40 minutes in, dream's Jamie Bell received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Laurence Bronson made a run for the goal 41 minutes into the game but the home team's left back managed to sort the situation out in the end. 3 - 2 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by turttles, with 53 percent of the ball.

turttles increased the lead as Geoffrey Lennox struck to make the score 4 - 2 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. Geoffrey Lennox went down in terrible pain, clutching his left ankle. He could not continue playing and had to be carried off on a stretcher after 55 minutes. This gave Joe Benner a chance to take to the field instead. Stephen Satterfield increased the lead for turttles to 5 - 2, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! turttles put themselves up 6 - 2 when Rob Dominguez broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. After 78 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by Gabriel Arellano might have resulted in another goal for turttles. However, Lionel Bingaman made a spectacular save. Rudy Kauper was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was blocked by the keeper. However, dream's Efrain Samson managed to get hold of the rebound and tucked the ball into the empty net. 6 - 3 As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 2 minutes as stoppage time. The match ends 6 - 3. Possession in this half belonged to turttles, who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

turttles's best player was Roy Seay. Jim Shuart on the other hand, had a terrible day. dream's top performer was clearly Kristopher Stenzel. Lionel Bingaman turned in a dismal performance, however.
