The 12918 spectators at Krampfbahn Rote Erde were in for an afternoon of sunshine. Pulpeiro Pardo was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Giovanni Zuncheddu and Christer Bernhardsson. They fielded: Kück - Andreopoulos, Poppenbüttel, Gerhardt - Mölln, Zeuthen, Steberl, Tur, Giura - Pietler, Tesche.

Lineup: Khalatbari - Strnad, Bajo Fernández - Aloma, 辉光 (Huiguang), Quiroga, Ghidini, Nogues - Vergani, Goyaes, Faye.

Tresenelf AllStars fielded a 3-5-2 lineup. For Rep. of Sadistan, the formation of choice was 2-5-3. Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Tresenelf, taking advantage of their brilliant level with that tactic. Maurizio Vergani had a good opportunity to give Sadistan the lead as he charged down the right and struck the ball towards the top corner, but the home team's goalkeeper made the save. Tresenelf almost scored after a counterattack 5 minutes into the match, but Tom Tesche took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. 27 minutes of the match played, and a comedy of errors by the home side gave the visitors a chance at the lead, but Manuel Goyaes, after finding himself dashing down on goal from the left with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide. Tresenelf showed their counterattack skill 28 minutes into the match by breaking through the middle, with Constantin Pietler scoring uncontested for 1 - 0. Sadistan had to manage with a reduced squad after 29 minutes, as Gino Ghidini got sent off for a needless foul away from the game's action. The crowd was silenced 34 minutes into the match as the visiting team's Valfredo Quiroga came in from the left, levelling the score to 1 - 1. This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when Kor Faye slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against Hauke Kück, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes. Sadistan took the lead 40 minutes into the game, making the score 1 - 2 after some elegant movement down the middle. Maurizio Vergani was the scorer. Fabian Mölln was just a finger's breadth away from an equaliser for Tresenelf with a strike from the left, but Behrouz Khalatbari managed to ward the shot off for a corner. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Sadistan, with 59 percent of the ball.

After the ball was lifted in from the left, Manuel Goyaes was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 52 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. The bench was restless, and with 56 minutes passed Tresenelf's coach gave Torsten Volprich the opportunity the player had been hoping for. Constantin Pietler reluctantly left the field. Ralph Tur showed the skills that make him a real crowd pleaser as he, after 57 minutes, wove through the guests' entire central defence and put the 2 - 2 equaliser away. With 61 minutes played, Aimo Giura of Tresenelf fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. 67 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Tresenelf substitution. Jörn Gröpel came on for Fabian Mölln. Torsten Volprich enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again. Rodrigo Nogues came close to putting the visiting team one up 75 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but Hauke Kück managed to tip the ball to a corner. As usual, Fynn Gerhardt tried to use his strength and hard work for the benefit of the team, but the heat hit him hard and he couldn't keep pace at all. Marios Andreopoulos gave Tresenelf the lead with a beautiful free kick after 77 minutes. 3 - 2! Manuel Goyaes came close to levelling the score 78 minutes into the game, as he was set up with a through ball coming in from the left, but his shot hit the post. A cross coming in on the right hand side left Pedro Bajo Fernández alone in front of the goal after 79 minutes but his shot was woeful. After 80 minutes, Sadistan switched Manuel Goyaes with Laurean Obedeanu, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. Marios Andreopoulos struck a 30 metre free kick home 80 minutes into the match. 4 - 2 for the home team. The Tresenelf players could smell victory in the air. Ralph Tur wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for Günther Kretek after 87 minutes. Still ahead in the game after 87 minutes, Tresenelf made some tactical adjustments. Aimo Giura and Günther Kretek swapped positions. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 2 minutes of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 4 - 2. Sadistan enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

Most important Tresenelf player was Torsten Volprich. Aimo Giura was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Sadistan player was without a doubt 甘 (Gan) 辉光 (Huiguang). On the other hand, Maurizio Vergani's play was disheartening.
