The crowd of 8339 turning up at Dream Arena today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Aard Pouw was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Patrick Spindler and Hakim Devinsu. The following players had been chosen: Trabucchi - Bonazza, Mrvica, Gratti - Pandori, Bulzomì, Ulhoa, Vujić - Francius, Pelosi, Meinhardt.

They fielded: Cerioli - Čorić, Boară, Nağme - Guiza, Quốc Thái, Lohbrügge, Hagen, Viskil - Rada, Czapor.

FC Bamboocha Boys started the game in a 3-4-3 formation, whereas Sdaizu lined up in a 3-5-2 formation. Sdaizu immediately set off using their formidable skill at pressing their opponents. Henrico Meinhardt spent most of the time in a heap on the ground today, his normally rapid movement hindered by the slippery pitch. The referee showed Bamboocha's Henrico Meinhardt the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Iustin Rada went down after twisting his left ankle after 24 minutes, and had to leave the pitch. The replacement for the injured player was Nicola Area. Sdaizu's Pavao Čorić gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 30 minutes with a superb strike from the right. Salomon Viskil was, after 31 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper Tomas Trabucchi made the save. Halftime score was 0 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Sdaizu, with 61 percent of the ball.

After 48 minutes of game time, Salomon Viskil had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but Tomas Trabucchi was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. Sdaizu's Erke Nağme got himself booked for a foul. With 50 minutes played, the Bamboocha coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. Zita Minoodt came on, Joseph Francius had to leave the fray. Joseph Francius was coming off, and had placed his last free kick for the day. That meant that Marco Bonazza got the chance to showcase his dead ball skills. The Sdaizu players could smell victory in the air. Nguyễn Quốc Thái wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for Paulo Domingos Sequeira Silva after 60 minutes. Sdaizu's ability to press all over the field frequently paid dividends. Still ahead in the game after 67 minutes, Sdaizu made some tactical adjustments. Erke Nağme and Salomon Viskil swapped positions. The pressing tactics used by Sdaizu were successful as the ball remained close to the half way line at all times. After 77 minutes, Sdaizu felt secure enough to make a tactical change. Nicola Area and Grzegorz Czapor assumed each others positions on the field. The match ends 0 - 1. Sdaizu claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.

Most important Bamboocha player was Giancarlo Bulzomì. Zita Minoodt was a disappointment, however. Sdaizu's top performer was clearly Adrian Boară. Virgilio Cerioli turned in a dismal performance, however.
