Łowczyni 1 - 6 BZB

Since the other team did not show up in time for kick off, the BZB coach had to find a suitable replacement. He called over a group of people that were sitting in the cafeteria and told them to get their boots on. The crowd of 520 turning up at Arena Chwały today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Dougie Galloway was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Bart Laloo and Stéphane Goyer. They fielded: Sehrwind - Ołubiec, Urhøj, Zembrzycki, Babiel - Paone, Gruszka, Faryś, Niedolak - Juszczyński, Skotniczna.

Lineup: Cembrowski - Godlewski, Saleppichi, Corodeanu - Biegański, Cichorz, Chechłacz, Stypułkowski, Barankiewicz - Berry, Wolniakowski.

Elfica Kraków entered the field in a 4-4-2 formation. The visitors, Biało- Zieloni, chose to start the game with a 3-5-2 lineup. The boggy pitch disrupted the game, especially for technical players like Leon Urhøj. Leon Urhøj dispatched a majestic long shot 8 minutes into the match, but missed the goal by a few metres. 19 minutes into the game, Łowczyni had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to weak. BZB's Damian Wolniakowski gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 20 minutes with a superb strike from the right. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Stanisław Chechłacz got himself booked. The manager of BZB was not happy. BZB's Andrzej Biegański got himself booked for a foul. With 34 minutes played, BZB put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Andrzej Biegański. Duccio Saleppichi came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over Tom Sehrwind but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by BZB, with 62 percent of the ball.

During the break, Łowczyni's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to solid organisation. Bogdan Barankiewicz wanted to play on, but the BZB coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 61 minutes into the game by Karol Tietz. Stanisław Chechłacz increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 3. The coach of BZB was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 71 minutes, Mieczysław 'Megi' Gwizdała came on for Damian Wolniakowski. Damian Wolniakowski was coming off, and had placed his last free kick for the day. That meant that Mieczysław 'Megi' Gwizdała got the chance to showcase his dead ball skills. The BZB players could smell victory in the air. Myślibor Cembrowski wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for Rıfat Balsu after 71 minutes. With a penalty awarded after 75 minutes, Łowczyni's Józef Zembrzycki placed the ball low and to the keeper's right, impossible to block. 1 - 3. 77 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 4 as Andrzej Biegański finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Some fine movement on the left led to a BZB goal after 78 minutes, making it 1 - 5. Witold Stypułkowski was noted down as the scorer. The visitors' Stanisław Chechłacz took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 80 minutes into the match. 1 - 6 for BZB. 81 minutes in, Łowczyni appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only passable. BZB came close to extending their lead as Mirosław Cichorz delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 84 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. With 85 minutes played, Józef Zembrzycki of Łowczyni fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 2 minutes as stoppage time. The match ends 1 - 6. BZB claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 65 percent.

The most dominating Łowczyni player was without a doubt Artur Ołubiec. Stefano Paone on the other hand, had a terrible day. BZB's top performer was clearly Karsten Berry. Rıfat Balsu was a disappointment, however.
