The 12000 spectators at Arsenal Football Clu Arena were in for an afternoon of sunshine. Thomi Janes was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Heintje Riedle and Jonas Matzeit. The weather was sunny, which meant perfect conditions for technical players in both teams. However, it was also quite warm, which meant quick or physically strong players were drained faster and couldn't play their best game. The following players took the field: Tansley - Gray, Bains, Forrester, Brooks - Seabrook, Trotman, Barry, Bosley - Crusher, Hanley.

Starters: Looney - Muhammad, Baber, Mclean, Brown - Soley, Hann, Spencer, Siggins - Ashern, Sheppard.

As the teams spread out over the pitch, it became clear that they would both be using a 4-4-2 formation today. 7 minutes in, Football's Mark Bains received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Football took the lead 8 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as Montague Bosley elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. Chris Seabrook increased the lead for Football to 2 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Football to 3 - 0 as Elijah Barry finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Halftime score was 3 - 0. Football had most of the ball, with 60 percent of possession.

Phoenix's right side looked dangerous after 47 minutes, as Craig Soley broke through. Anthony Tansley continued to stifle them, however, as he made the save look easy. Football's Roger Crusher saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 76 minutes. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Football scored another to make it 4 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for Ben Trotman after 77 minutes. A counterattack by Phoenix after 79 minutes could have resulted in a goal, but Irtaza Muhammad, coming in on the left, couldn't get the shot off. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 1 minute as stoppage time. The match ends 4 - 0. Football enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 61 percent of possession.

The most dominating Football player was without a doubt Roger Crusher. Anthony Tansley on the other hand, had a terrible day. Phoenix's best player was Robert Sheppard. John Looney turned in a dismal performance, however.
