Trojanss 4 - 1 dream

Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 12000 to Trojanss Arena. Tijl Ballet was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Peter Nyland and Adrien Drieu. The following players had been chosen: Osborne - Zimmer, Willingham, Olague, Willis - Mcnulty, Squires, Dwyer, Lara - Cotton, Clay.

Starters: Bingaman - Samson, Purvis, Kauper, Cabrera - Bell, Goodman, Goldsmith, Stenzel - Bronson, Tolleson.

4-4-2 was the choice of the day for both coaches. Making his way up the middle 17 minutes into the match, Brett Dwyer almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert Lionel Bingaman blocked it to keep the score level. Alberto Olague of Trojanss received a yellow card after 18 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. In a rapid move 20 minutes into the match, Donny Goodman of dream lost his man and passed the ball to the unmarked Milan Tolleson who easily hit it home to make it 0 - 1. Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy! The referee showed dream's Jamie Bell the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 32 minutes into the match, Trojanss's Alberto Olague maneuvered his way around the opposition on the left flank, delighting the crowd with his twists and turns. The effort paid off as the ball found the back of the net, evening the score at 1 - 1. The home side put themselves ahead 2 - 1 after 34 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from Ed Cotton, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. Jamie Bell made a good effort at breaking through on the right, but the home team's left defence cleared the ball to a corner. 40 minutes in, dream's Milan Tolleson received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. It emerged that Leo Osborne had hurt his right foot after 40 minutes, which led him to abandon the game. The player that took his place was Jeff Reynoso. Halftime score was 2 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by dream, with 51 percent of the ball.

Things were deteriorating for the away team as Trojanss scored another to make it 3 - 1 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for Brett Dwyer after 49 minutes. 54 minutes in, Isaac Cabrera made an incredible run up the middle and nearly reduced the home side's lead, but Jeff Reynoso refused to let the ball slip by him. Rupert Purvis of dream was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. The crowd roared its approval when Jeff Reynoso somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by dream's Milan Tolleson 62 minutes into the game, following a good move through the middle. After 72 minutes, Ed Cotton put Trojanss ahead 4 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. The referee decided to let play continue for an additional 2 minutes beyond the regular 90 minutes. The match ends 4 - 1. dream claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.

The most dominating Trojanss player was without a doubt Wes Clay. On the other hand, Jeff Reynoso's play was disheartening. Most important dream player was Kristopher Stenzel. However, Lionel Bingaman made a disastrous appearance.
