Kolembrody 2 - 3 BZB

The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 12000 had shown up at San Siro for the match. Röbi Safran was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Munlik Toukta and Rasmus Ravnkilde. They fielded: Musielewicz - Labocha, Hammeren, Torres, Szemiot - Apolinarski, Sobol, Ścibor, Świątek - Szałachowski, Rumowski.

The following players had been chosen: Quijano - Draga, Humphries, Szymkowiak - Everist, Stypułkowski, Kułagowski, Jagusz, Domaszewicz - Touijar, Kolas.

The teams had chosen different formations for the match. Home team Zryw Kolembrody went for 4-4-2 while Biało- Zieloni has decided to play a 3-5-2 lineup. Pressing was the tactic of the day for Kolembrody, taking advantage of their passable level with that tactic. The wings were the focus of most of BZB's attacks on this day, taking advantage of their world class level with that tactic. The pressing tactics used by Kolembrody were successful as the ball remained close to the half way line at all times. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 11 minutes into the match left BZB's Witold Stypułkowski completely free to score. 0 - 1 for the visitors. After 13 minutes, Janusz Szemiot made a dash down the middle past the away team's defenders to score the goal that made it 1 - 1. It was 1 - 1 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by BZB, with 61 percent of the ball.

Kolembrody pressed their opponents, causing the game to be a bit of a stalemate at times. 55 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a BZB substitution. Marek Niezgoda came on for Witold Stypułkowski. At this time in the match, Kolembrody were using their skill at pressing to successfully stifle the game. Bahnini Touijar would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Mieczysław 'Megi' Gwizdała entered the game for BZB as the match clock showed 60 minutes. As the 60 minute mark approached, the Kolembrody coach decided it was time for a substitution. Daniel Świątek reluctantly made way for Antoni Szlosarek on the pitch. After 60 minutes, the Kolembrody coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Włodzimierz Szałachowski off the field. Dawid Studnicki took his place. Antoni Szlosarek became the new Kolembrody captain. At 62 minutes played, Aleksander Labocha came in from the right with the intention of giving Kolembrody the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar. 75 minutes into the game, Kolembrody wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Teodor Ścibor gave Endrich Kahre a quick hug as he left the field. BZB's Wojciech Kolas could have put the guests one up after 79 minutes after chasing a through ball from the right, but Gustaw Musielewicz was as fast as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose. BZB were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. BZB's Wojciech Kolas managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 81 minutes. 1 - 2. Wiesiek Sobol showed the skills that make him a real crowd pleaser as he, after 83 minutes, wove through the guests' entire central defence and put the 2 - 2 equaliser away. After 85 minutes, BZB put themselves up 2 - 3, as Roy Humphries finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. The match ends 2 - 3. Possession in this half belonged to BZB, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.

Most important Kolembrody player was Artur Rumowski. On the other hand, Antoni Szlosarek's play was disheartening. BZB's top performer was clearly Wojciech Kolas. Marek Niezgoda was a disappointment, however.
