Bam 2 - 5 BZB

2621 punters turned up at Simple Power Camp, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came. Amnon Buganim was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jorge Lacalle Cuvillo and Salvador Inclán. The following players took the field: Türkmen - Christakos, Kuckucksruf, Iñarra - Merino Íñiguez, Kalchev, Aldoğan, Meulders, Vameşu - Petit, Ursini.

Lineup: Quijano - Draga, Vonortas, Humphries, Szymkowiak - Malczak, Kułagowski, Niezgoda, Stafiej - Touijar, Wolniakowski.

Patlayıcı Kuvvet entered the field in a 3-5-2 formation. The visitors, Biało- Zieloni, chose to start the game with a 4-4-2 lineup. Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for BZB on this day, taking advantage of their outstanding level with that tactic. Bahnini Touijar was in no condition to play on. He left the field limping after 3 minutes, with his right thigh bandaged. The player that took his place was Mieczysław 'Megi' Gwizdała. BZB's defence sent a ball soaring up the middle on a beautiful counterattack with 8 minutes gone, but Marek Stafiej's finish was met by the reaching hands of the keeper. Mieczysław 'Megi' Gwizdała was in the clear after breaking the offside trap following a BZB counterattack from the left after 13 minutes. His neat finish made the score 0 - 1. The referee showed BZB's Ignacy Malczak the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Mirko Ursini acted with superior experience when, 32 minutes into the match, he predicted a pass, intercepted it and then finished off with a goal. 1 - 1 for Bam! After 37 minutes, BZB's Mieczysław 'Megi' Gwizdała made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 1 - 2. Bam equalised after 38 minutes after a brilliantly placed penalty by Esperos Christakos. Having taken a hard knock between his legs, Yiorgos Vonortas limped off the pitch in a reduced state of dignity. He could not continue, with 40 minutes on the clock, could this prove costly for his team? Jarosław Grenda had already been warming up, and came on for Yiorgos Vonortas. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Bam, with 65 percent of the ball.

After 46 minutes, the Bam manager redeployed his men. Francisco Jesús Merino Íñiguez swapped positions with Serdar Aldoğan. As the clock reached 46 minutes, Bam decided to regroup. Cristi Vameşu gave Ivan Kalchev a little pat on the back as they changed positions on the pitch. After 65 minutes, Włodzimierz Kułagowski took a hard knock between his legs. He needed a long breather but was eventually able to continue the game. A foul called during a BZB counterattack resulted in a great chance to score, but Damian Wolniakowski's shot rattled off the post. 75 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a BZB substitution. Seweryn Domaszewicz came on for Ignacy Malczak. After 79 minutes, the defensive line of BZB created a counterattack through the middle that gave Damian Wolniakowski a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. BZB took the lead 82 minutes into the game, making the score 2 - 3 after some elegant movement down the middle. Damian Wolniakowski was the scorer. The home crowd was not impressed when Mieczysław 'Megi' Gwizdała came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 83 minutes. BZB were now up 2 - 4. That made three goals for Mieczysław 'Megi' Gwizdała and he was marked down for the hat trick. After 84 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Seweryn Domaszewicz who increased BZB's lead to 2 - 5. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 3 minutes of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 2 - 5. Possession in this half belonged to Bam, who controlled the ball 56 percent of the time.

Serdar Aldoğan performed admirably for Bam. Tümay Türkmen on the other hand, had a terrible day. BZB's best player was Mieczysław 'Megi' Gwizdała. Marek Niezgoda was a disappointment, however.
