It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 21422 that came out to The Fortress. Erez Zvity was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Kim Grooten and Renick van der Erf. The weather was sunny, which meant perfect conditions for technical players in both teams. However, it was also quite warm, which meant quick or physically strong players were drained faster and couldn't play their best game. Lineup: Yuli - Santoso, Langgong, Sahlan, Hutauruk - Ageng, Ivakdalam, Celbi, Soputan, Hanafi - Sudjana.

Starters: Nametak - Ćipranić, Milatović, Kenjalo, Vučinić, Jovanović - Bylykbashi, Nenadić, Šćepanović, Oka - Stajić.

The teams had chosen different formations for the match. Home team U-20 Indonesia went for 4-5-1 while U-20 Crna Gora has decided to play a 5-4-1 lineup. U-20 Crna Gora were relying on their magnificent ability to counter-attack. Always quick on his feet, U-20 Indonesia's Sudir Ageng sped down the field after 6 minutes, but his pass to Zomi Hanafi was just a bit too far ahead for him to get a good shot off. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 11 minutes into the match left U-20 Crna Gora's Stanko Nenadić completely free to score. 0 - 1 for the visitors. A lovely run by U-20 Indonesia's Zomi Hanafi left his markers for dead and should have resulted in a goal, but the finish went just wide. U-20 Indonesia needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 30 minutes Rango Langgong made way for Petrus Mapparessa. After the ball was lifted in from the left, Momo Šćepanović was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 30 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. Good work by the U-20 Indonesia defensive line after 31 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found Gundala Sudjana alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. As the game started to slip away for U-20 Indonesia, the manager decided to change the tactical approach. 0 - 1 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by U-20 Indonesia, with 51 percent of the ball.

Petko Jovanović wanted to play on, but the U-20 Crna Gora coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by Aleksandar Kljajić. Kushtim Bylykbashi left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 46 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. Mateja Živadinović was the replacement. Momo Šćepanović almost seemed to dance around Wahidi Celbi, his movements were so smooth. Unfortunately for U-20 Crna Gora, his finish ended up on the wrong side of the post. With 60 minutes played, the U-20 Indonesia coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. Arif Guajardo came on, Petrus Mapparessa had to leave the fray. After 60 minutes, U-20 Indonesia switched Gundala Sudjana with Rian Syawaluddin, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. The U-20 Crna Gora players could smell victory in the air. Ognjen Stajić wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for Redon Kadiu after 60 minutes. Aleksandar Kljajić of U-20 Crna Gora was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. The match ends 0 - 1. U-20 Crna Gora had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

U-20 Indonesia's best player was Tantra Soputan. However, Suryo Yuli made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating U-20 Crna Gora player was without a doubt Kasim Nametak. Nikola Kenjalo was a disappointment, however.
