BZB 10 - 0 Stulejorz

27352 spectators had found their way to BZB Arena, despite the heavy rain. Richard Lawrence was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Randy Gasbarra and Ferdinando Signorotto. The rain was pouring down, it was the kind of weather favoured by strong players who stick to simple football. For players possessing of speed or technical skills, the day really was as grim as for everyone else. The following players had been chosen: Domeracki - Acabado, Grenda, Weiss - Stafiej, Jagusz, Bacza, Misterek, Everist - Kolas, Gwizdała.

They fielded: Gerek - Karaszewski, Totoń, Bonkowski, Majdecki - Radomski, Chróścik, Hoc, Pierzynowski - Janta, Wolny.

Biało- Zieloni fielded a 3-5-2 lineup. For Stulejorz Poznań, the formation of choice was 4-4-2. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 4 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from Aaron Everist, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. BZB increased the lead as Jarosław Grenda struck to make the score 2 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Edmund Jagusz squirmed through their central defence after 16 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 0. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Ambroży Weiss got himself booked. The manager of BZB was not happy. Given a free kick close to the byline, BZB tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let Marek Stafiej slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 4 - 0, 24 minutes into the game. The score became 5 - 0 at 26 minutes into the game, when BZB were given a penalty which Mieczysław 'Megi' Gwizdała blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! Halftime score was 5 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to BZB, who controlled the ball 86 percent of the time.

Aaron Everist wanted to play on, but the BZB coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by Maciej Madaliński. After 58 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and Mieczysław 'Megi' Gwizdała gave the BZB supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 6 - 0. 62 minutes into the game, BZB were awarded a penalty that Mieczysław 'Megi' Gwizdała turned into 7 - 0 without a problem. That made three goals for Mieczysław 'Megi' Gwizdała and he was marked down for the hat trick. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in BZB's Maciej Madaliński increasing the lead to 8 - 0. With 70 minutes played, Marek Stafiej of BZB fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. BZB's Maciej Madaliński increased the lead to 9 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 75 minutes. BZB put themselves up 10 - 0 when Mieczysław 'Megi' Gwizdała broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. Stulejorz's Bogusz Bonkowski was shown a yellow card after 78 minutes for slicing down an opponent. It was announced by the referee that he estimated stoppage time to be around 3 minutes. This meant there could still be an extra attack or two left in the match! The match ends 10 - 0. BZB had most of the ball, with 89 percent of possession.

BZB's best player was Julian Bacza. Maciej Madaliński turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Stulejorz player was without a doubt Adrian Pierzynowski. On the other hand, Fabian Gerek's play was disheartening.
