2598 spectators had come to Armadillo Lodge this cloudy day. Qadeer Afridi was the appointed referee with assistance provided by 方 (Fang) 育栋 (Yudong) and Arno Mirow. Starters: Nilsson - Berthold, Leppänen - Plaizier, Snoeck, Celis, Shenton, Deacy - Halford, Chance, Harris.

Lineup: Barturen - Ramírez de Guzmán, Villa, Woodhouse - Castolba, Pérez Cerro, Foronda, Ecenarro, Catafal - Zafra, Coscollà.

Dynamo Donington started the game in a 2-5-3 formation, whereas New Carlo F.A. lined up in a 3-5-2 formation. NewCarlo used their brilliant ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Robbie Shenton from Donington a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 8 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Down the middle came Ernest Coscollà, making a fantastic play that nearly had NewCarlo take the lead after 16 minutes, but Karl Nilsson preserved the tie. With 17 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as Benito Celis flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. It was 1 - 0 at the break. Donington enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.

51 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Charlton Chance broke through, making the score 2 - 0 for Donington. Donington increased the lead as Jan-Pieter 'Supreme Leader' Snoeck struck to make the score 3 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Donington coach let Anssi Liljeqvist replace Fabian Plaizier after 70 minutes. The Donington players could smell victory in the air. Benito Celis wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for Abdelwahid Gharib after 70 minutes. With Benito Celis no longer on the pitch, Wiljo Berthold became the new set pieces taker. Lenin Villa was unable to continue, following a slight injury to his right knee after 70 minutes. Óscar Mejía Dávila tried to hide a smile as he entered the field. He had not expected to get a chance this day. Karl Nilsson left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 75 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. Rubén Balsalobre was the replacement. After 76 minutes, NewCarlo switched Alejandro Zafra with Diego Calcena, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. 78 minutes into the match NewCarlo's Felis Pérez Cerro viciously shoved another player from behind while going for a loose ball and was sent off the pitch with a red card. After 78 minutes, Rubén Balsalobre strained his groin quite severely and had to be helped off the field by the physio. With the goal left unguarded, Jan-Pieter 'Supreme Leader' Snoeck had to leave his normal position and pick up the gloves. NewCarlo players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. With 81 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock, NewCarlo showed some good skill and were able to reduce the score to 3 - 1 when Antonio Ecenarro got past the home side's central defenders right in front of the goal. Charlton Chance had a fantastic opportunity to put Donington up another goal 82 minutes into the match after a pass through the middle set him free, but he fired just over the crossbar. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 2 minutes as stoppage time. The match ends 3 - 1. Donington claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.

Most important Donington player was Anssi Liljeqvist. Harvey Halford on the other hand, had a terrible day. Diego Calcena performed admirably for NewCarlo. However, Gonçal Catafal made a disastrous appearance.
