25245 spectators arrived at DEATH ARENA, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Fredrik Oskarsson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Ernst Vrijens and Kristian Høj Pedersen. The following players had been chosen: Çaba - Chatzinikolaou, Adamantidis - Zouvelekis, Fotilas, Arvanitakis, Mpatakos, Margiolis - Zelidis, Efremidis, Mpourantakis.

The following players took the field: Ariunbold - Enkhbold, Chagatai, Tabin - Shria, Arigh, Kassar, Lkhagvadorj - Gantulga, Bekter, Yeran.

Hellas started the game in a 2-5-3 formation, whereas Mongol Uls lined up in a 3-4-3 formation. Adam Mpourantakis gave Hellas the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0 The visitors kept the pressure on to tie the game when, after 15 minutes, Munkhbayar Kassar broke through the centre and found himself alone with the keeper. Yetkin Çaba made a great block, though. 1 - 0 was the score after the first half. Mongol Uls had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

Adam Mpourantakis wanted to play on, but the Hellas coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by Timotheos Mariakis. Minas Efremidis left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 46 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. Nikos 'Maradona' Dimitriou was the replacement. The coach of Hellas was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 46 minutes, Alekos Papageorgakopoulos came on for Adonis Arvanitakis. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Chin Bekter from Mongol Uls a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 55 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Suren Enkhbold tied the game at 1 - 1 after 69 minutes, when he converted an incredible pass from the right. After 71 minutes, a counter attack by Mongol Uls was converted into a decent free kick opportunity. However, the indirect free kick routine was easily anticipated by the defenders. A textbook example of how to defend a free kick - the attackers were left with few viable options. Chin Bekter knew he was in trouble after hacking down an opponent. Despite his pleading with the referee, the Mongol Uls player was shown a second yellow card and dismissed from the game. Barsbold Yeran came close to putting the visiting team one up 74 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but Yetkin Çaba managed to tip the ball to a corner. Hellas created a good opportunity to score 79 minutes into the match when Timotheos Mariakis's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when Barsbold Yeran slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against Yetkin Çaba, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes. The match ends 1 - 1. Mongol Uls enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.

Hellas's top performer was clearly Nikos 'Maradona' Dimitriou. Alekos Papageorgakopoulos was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Mongol Uls player was without a doubt Munkhbayar Kassar. Shria Gantulga turned in a dismal performance, however.
