Clouds darkened the skies at Galata Stadion Światła as 27331 spectators turned up for the match. Danijel Obušković was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Orla 'Profeten' Roedkjær and Jaak Dauwe. Starters: Proniewski - Camasta, Mantela, Dubas - Felbinger, Riedle, Gutzwiller, Ahvenjärvi - Wojton, Grzelewski, Krywult.

The following players had been chosen: Detaeye - Bassetta, Vilep, Artasov, Luca de Tena - Durán, Rytlewski, Zaichenko, Manfrini - Rostovskiy, Najda.

FC Kargoszyn entered the field in a 3-4-3 formation. The visitors, Mohawk Warriors, chose to start the game with a 4-4-2 lineup. Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for Mohawks on this day, taking advantage of their supernatural level with that tactic. Oliver Vilep was stuck like glue to Florian Wojton, diminishing the Kargoszyn player's contribution in the match! Florian Krywult caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 5 minutes. This gave Kargoszyn the 1 - 0 lead. After 11 minutes, a well-worked counterattack by Mohawks on the right presented an easy opportunity in front of the goal that was duly converted by Carlos Durán to make it 1 - 1. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to Matteo Camasta, but the Kargoszyn player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 2 - 1! A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Kargoszyn's Mario Gutzwiller increasing the lead to 3 - 1. Halftime score was 3 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Kargoszyn, with 59 percent of the ball.

After 70 minutes, Mohawks switched David Zaichenko with Aurelio Saraceni, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. Yuriy Rostovskiy was handed the Mohawks captain's armband. After 72 minutes, Mateusz Rytlewski took a hard knock between his legs. He needed a long breather but were eventually able to continue the game. Mohawks earned themselves a free kick after a counterattack wasn't dealt with adequately by their opponents. Carlos Durán powered the shot in for 3 - 2. Mohawks's Mateusz Rytlewski got himself booked for a foul. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Mario Gutzwiller from Kargoszyn a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 83 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! With 86 minutes played, Kargoszyn's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to Jan Dubas he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 4 - 2. Jarosław Grzelewski of Kargoszyn was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Jarosław Grzelewski squirmed through their central defence after 87 minutes, increasing the lead to 5 - 2. The referee decided to let play continue for an additional 3 minutes beyond the regular 90 minutes. The match ends 5 - 2. Kargoszyn claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

The most dominating Kargoszyn player was without a doubt Paul Felbinger. On the other hand, Matteo Camasta's play was disheartening. Yuriy Rostovskiy performed admirably for Mohawks. Oliver Vilep turned in a dismal performance, however.
