The 12000 spectators at JFC Arena were in for an afternoon of sunshine. Vural Bekam was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Filip Duyzend and William Kikwete. Jamal FC started the game in a 4-4-2 formation, whereas Supastrikas FC lined up in a 3-5-2 formation. Today, SSFC's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks, taking advantage of their magical level with that tactic. It was obvious that SSFC had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. SSFC's Julian Egger gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 25 minutes with a superb strike from the right. 34 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 2 as Godfried Pieters finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Fernando Getino received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 39 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 3. The SSFC fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. 41 minutes into the game, SSFC's Aurelian Ciucuriţă took a seemingly painful knock to his chest. However, he gritted his teeth and decided to play on. The referee signalled a penalty 42 minutes into the game following an offence which looked like it was outside the box. Julian Egger knocked it home to make the score 0 - 4. After 43 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Julian Egger who increased SSFC's lead to 0 - 5. That made three goals for Julian Egger and he was marked down for the hat trick. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 5. Possession in this half belonged to SSFC, who controlled the ball 84 percent of the time.

Godfried Pieters came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over Hector Okhande but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. Some fine movement on the left led to a SSFC goal after 51 minutes, making it 0 - 6. Godfried Pieters was noted down as the scorer. Aurelian Ciucuriţă of SSFC took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 55 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 7. The visitors' Pedro Andrés Ozuna took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 59 minutes into the match. 0 - 8 for SSFC. With 65 minutes played, Raymond Abisogun of Jamal fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 66 minutes, SSFC did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, Chris Strauven was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 0 - 9. Content with how the game was proceeding, the SSFC coach let Marlon Venn replace Julian Egger after 73 minutes. With Julian Egger no longer on the pitch, Chris Strauven took over free kick duty. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 4 minutes as stoppage time. The match ends 0 - 9. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by SSFC, with 88 percent of the ball.

Jamal's top performer was clearly Morrison Marcus. On the other hand, Hector Okhande's play was disheartening. SSFC's best player was Pedro Andrés Ozuna. Fernando Getino turned in a dismal performance, however.
