fortin 2 - 3 Tandar.

Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and GUSTAVO CERATI saw a crowd turnout of 1648. Waldemar de Groen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Josef Prettlack and Bernhard 'El General' Waldstein. The match took place on neutral ground. The following players took the field: Plew - Krafczyk, Keskinarkaus, Sântămărean - Uetersen, Nuutinen, Boancheş, Langseth, Acuña - Laxagueborde, Dańkowski.

Starters: Maceratesi - Quintana, de la Cueva, Vanucci - Pierzchalski, Menéndez, Pasquale, Peinado, Al-Maznai - Pacheco, Llanos.

The teams both lined up their players in 3-5-2 formations. fortin mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle, taking advantage of their brilliant level with that tactic. Tandar. had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 6 minutes in when Julio Llanos came up alone against Wolfgang Plew who managed a block. fortin had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. Juan Elías Laxagueborde caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 30 minutes. This gave fortin the 1 - 0 lead. Adam Pierzchalski made a nice dash down the wing after 35 minutes, but was unable to get the cross into the box. A goal kick was awarded. Cheers filled the stadium as Marek Dańkowski broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to fortin. Ricardo Peinado could've grabbed a goal for Tandar. 37 minutes in when he got a pass from the left putting him free of the home side's defence, but he was unable to take advantage of the situation. 2 - 0 was the score after the first half. Tandar. had most of the ball, with 60 percent of possession.

The bench was restless, and with 62 minutes passed Tandar.'s coach gave Simón Hidalgo the opportunity the player had been hoping for. Sharaf Al-Maznai reluctantly left the field. After 69 minutes Ricardo Peinado seized on an opportunistic attack from the right, and scored for Tandar. making it 2 - 1. Robert Langseth neatly controlled the ball after a short corner, and knocked it on to Frithjof Uetersen who had the whole net open before him, but only managed to hit the post. Some brilliant football from the visitors' right wing resulted in a levelling of the score as Tandar.'s Santiago Nicolas Pacheco put the ball in the onion bag after 73 minutes to make it 2 - 2. Given a free kick close to the byline, Tandar. tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let Julio Llanos slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 2 - 3, 76 minutes into the game. After 78 minutes of game time, Javier Menéndez had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but Wolfgang Plew was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 1 minute as stoppage time. The referee showed Tandar.'s Camel Quintana the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The match ends 2 - 3. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Tandar., with 59 percent of the ball.

fortin's top performer was clearly Juan Elías Laxagueborde. Marek Dańkowski turned in a dismal performance, however. Julio Llanos performed admirably for Tandar.. Víctor de la Cueva on the other hand, had a terrible day.
