Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 3019 at Adlerhorst today. Ulf Blank was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Anders Nilsson and Matei Necsulescu. They fielded: Diallo - Balmon, Epp - Ehrenhaus, Pottier, Fuchs, Pfeiffer, Ess - Flicker, Sarre, Ewald.

The following players had been chosen: Mila - Petullà, Galvan, Ráquira - Linzi, Virtanen, Augonis, Preziuso, Derkacz - Ravenstein, Barcaroli.

Steinhausen Coyotes entered the field in a 2-5-3 formation. The visitors, Pennywise86, chose to start the game with a 3-5-2 lineup. Steinhausen were relying on their inadequate ability to counter-attack. Pennywise86 clearly preferred using their outstanding ability to attack in the middle. Pennywise86's Ireneusz Derkacz was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - Konstantin Ravenstein managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 0 - 1 after 8 minutes. After 11 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Antonio Barcaroli who increased Pennywise86's lead to 0 - 2. With 18 minutes played, Yannick Pottier of Steinhausen fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Steinhausen's Marcel Fuchs managed a superb strike from the left after 23 minutes that would have left goalkeeper Román Mila without a chance, had it not hit the post. Pennywise86 were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. Antonio Barcaroli received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 29 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 3. The Pennywise86 fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Pennywise86 coach let Héctor Raúl Rossi replace Román Mila after 32 minutes. Pennywise86 had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. After 33 minutes, Gelson Ewald slowly got up on his feet, clutching his left thigh, but eventually signalled that he was ready to play on. After 35 minutes, Pennywise86 sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached Ireneusz Derkacz, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 0 - 4. Halftime score was 0 - 4. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Pennywise86, with 59 percent of the ball.

Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Steinhausen's Guillaume Sarre was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 46 minutes. Samuel Berthaud was given a chance to change things around. After 46 minutes, Steinhausen switched Nizar Diallo with Poul Deichmann, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. Steinhausen's Gelson Ewald found himself alone on the left side 52 minutes into the match and laid down a perfect shot - right into the arms of the keeper! Pennywise86 had to manage with a reduced squad after 65 minutes, as Timo Virtanen got sent off for a needless foul away from the game's action. With 76 minutes played, Mattia Epp was very close to reducing the score for Steinhausen with a low drive from the left, but a defender stuck his foot out just in the nick of time, blocking the shot to a corner. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Rutavilis Augonis got himself booked. The manager of Pennywise86 was not happy. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 2 minutes as stoppage time. The match ends 0 - 4. Pennywise86 had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.

The most dominating Steinhausen player was without a doubt Poul Deichmann. Marcel Fuchs on the other hand, had a terrible day. Procopio Preziuso performed admirably for Pennywise86. On the other hand, Roberto Petullà's play was disheartening.
