Both teams came out with a similar approach to the match, having chosen to start with a 3-5-2 formation. valparaiso seemed to prefer attacking in the middle, taking advantage of their brilliant level with that tactic. After 30 minutes of play, Blas Melipil equalised for valparaiso after an elegant attack from the right. 2 - 2 was the halftime score. Oaos had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.

As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 3 minutes as stoppage time. The match ends 3 - 4.
