Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 48145 to Vicospurs Arena. Arkadiusz Rubik was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jacob Bertens and Özgür Süphan. Lineup: Bernheiden - Pizoń, Korán, Iorizzo - Geril, Mascanzoni, Harvey, Murru, Storoni - Mançellari, Kozikowski.

They fielded: Nevola - Izzi, Şerbănescu, Girardi - Saccardo, Bonandini, Bartolacelli, Paleari, Feliciello - Bellinvia, Ghiron.

As the teams prepared to start the match, they both lined up in a 3-5-2 formation. It was an obvious ambition of Quelli che to use their magical ability at attacking on the flanks. dm001 used their excellent skill at pressing to cut off the attack angles of their opponents all over the field. Players in Quelli che heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. After 25 minutes, Norberto Bellinvia sprinted between the opposing defenders and squared the ball, but the keeper deflected Manlio Saccardo's shot. Stefano Mascanzoni gave Quelli che the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0 Geoff Geril was doing a great job on his wing, sending in brilliant passes to his teammates in the middle, but Waldemar Kozikowski seemed unable to profit from this excellent service. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Waldemar Kozikowski squirmed through their central defence after 36 minutes, increasing the lead to 2 - 0. dm001 pressed their opponents, causing the game to be a bit of a stalemate at times. Halftime score was 2 - 0. Quelli che claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

The bench was restless, and with 62 minutes passed dm001's coach gave Maurizio Noja the opportunity the player had been hoping for. Gian Franco Bonandini reluctantly left the field. Vasco Izzi was handed the dm001 captain's armband. dm001 needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 77 minutes Vasco Izzi made way for Tommaso Gasparroni. Vasco Izzi was coming off, and had placed his last free kick for the day. That meant that David Ghiron got the chance to showcase his dead ball skills. Gianluca Feliciello was the new captain of dm001 - handed the armband by the departing player. After 78 minutes, dm001 switched Manlio Saccardo with Brisko Glindmeyer, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. Geoff Geril of Quelli che received a yellow card after 80 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Quelli che were given a gift! The ref dubiously awarded them a penalty 81 minutes into the match, which was neatly put away by Miklós Korán. 3 - 0 for the home side. A great save by keeper Augusto 'Saracinesca' Nevola after 82 minutes kept the visitors in the game after Waldemar Kozikowski struck from the left with a real cannonball. Augusto 'Saracinesca' Nevola went down after twisting his left ankle after 83 minutes, and had to leave the pitch. Norberto Bellinvia had to try his luck as goalkeeper. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 1 minute of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 3 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Quelli che, who controlled the ball 59 percent of the time.

Most important Quelli che player was Parlind Mançellari. However, Stefano Mascanzoni made a disastrous appearance. dm001's top performer was clearly Enrico Bartolacelli. On the other hand, Tommaso Gasparroni's play was disheartening.
