12000 spectators had come to Beermuscles Brauhaus this cloudy day. Peter Stenblad was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Hinz Endt and Yazid Moussaoui. People from all over New York City had joined up for the derby. The following players had been chosen: Younger - Grissom, Levine, Holk-Anderson, Bishop - Roberts, Kandil, Wisniski-Maszk, Loy-Courtney - Wood, Scherer.

Lineup: Amieiro - Caycedo, Marconi, Richards - Onieva, LeMaire, Henneghan, Stallworth, Ritsos - Leduc, Gregory.

Beermuscles entered the field in a 4-4-2 formation. The visitors, TuS Pewsum, chose to start the game with a 3-5-2 lineup. The terraces were silenced after 4 minutes when Pewsum's Alex Stallworth put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right. 7 minutes in, Pewsum's Léon Leduc received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Léon Leduc of Pewsum took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 19 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 2. It emerged that Malcolm Wood had hurt his left foot after 21 minutes, which led him to abandon the game. The player that took his place was Juán Jensen. 24 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 3 as Cole Gregory finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. A drive down the left side allowed Léon Leduc to get in close and score another goal for Pewsum after 28 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 4. It was 0 - 4 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Pewsum, with 75 percent of the ball.

Cole Gregory received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 47 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 5. The Pewsum fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. After 49 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave Léon Leduc a chance to increase the lead for Pewsum, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 6. That made three goals for Léon Leduc and he was marked down for the hat trick. Pewsum increased their lead after 55 minutes when Andrés Caycedo broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 7, much to the home crowd's dismay. After 76 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Léon Leduc who increased Pewsum's lead to 0 - 8. With 78 minutes played, Alex Stallworth nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. The referee decided to let play continue for an additional 2 minutes beyond the regular 90 minutes. The match ends 0 - 8. Pewsum had most of the ball, with 78 percent of possession.

Beermuscles's best player was Anwar Kandil. However, Lukas Younger made a disastrous appearance. Most important Pewsum player was Cole Gregory. Thimios Ritsos was a disappointment, however.
