A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 40727 to The Incinerator. Grgo Podrug was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Petter Rothbom and Miguel Gaete. For some players the sunny weather was bad news. It made Powerful and Quick players a bit sluggish. For Technical players, it was instead an advantage, allowing them to shine on the pitch. Lineup: Åberg - Flierler, Labermeier, Radessich, Ehrgang, Schwendner - Krišto, Fontanals - Shkopi, Teck, Milanko.

The following players had been chosen: Kima - Strnad, Bajo Fernández - Quiroga, 辉光 (Huiguang), Nogues, Ghidini, Aloma - Goyaes, Faye, Pagello.

FC High Valiant entered the field in a 5-2-3 formation. The visitors, Rep. of Sadistan, chose to start the game with a 2-5-3 lineup. Valiant were relying on their extra-terrestrial ability to counter-attack. Sadistan's Karsten Strnad soared above the crowd, but couldn't knock the corner home 24 minutes into the match. Valiant had a great opportunity to score following a counterattack after 28 minutes, but Leonardo Milanko's shot from the left sailed high over the bar. Sadistan had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 39 minutes in when Abramo Pagello came up alone against Petro Åberg who managed a block. 41 minutes in, Valiant appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only passable. Valiant were great at switching from defence to attack, and after 43 minutes, Donatello Radessich swept through the middle on a counterattack, making the score 1 - 0. The incalculable Hendrik Schwendner of Valiant did everything right as he set up Falkmar Teck for a goal after 43 minutes. Unfortunately, the strike missed its target. Some brilliant football from the visitors' right wing resulted in a levelling of the score as Sadistan's Manuel Goyaes put the ball in the onion bag after 44 minutes to make it 1 - 1. Hendrik Schwendner caught everyone off guard with a great opening pass - but unfortunately Falkmar Teck was as surprised by the move as anybody else, and managed to miss the extraordinary opportunity. Valiant were very close to putting themselves one up after 44 minutes as Vincent Flierler got through on the left. However, his concentration failed him, and he shot wide. Halftime score was 1 - 1. Sadistan had most of the ball, with 59 percent of possession.

The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that Valiant had solid organisation. Always quick on his feet, Sadistan's Valfredo Quiroga sped down the field after 48 minutes, but his pass to Manuel Goyaes was just a bit too far ahead for him to get a good shot off. Vincent Flierler twisted his arm after 58 minutes, but the Valiant player had no trouble continuing the game. 1 - 2 was the score with 62 minutes played, after Gino Ghidini cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Sadistan. With things not going too well on the field, the Valiant coach made the decision to swap the positions of Lovro Krišto and Wilhelm Ehrgang with 65 minutes played. The Sadistan players could smell victory in the air. Manuel Goyaes wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for Balázs Biczkó after 75 minutes. 78 minutes into the game, Valiant had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to passable. With 81 minutes played, Sadistan put themselves up 1 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Kor Faye. 甘 (Gan) 辉光 (Huiguang) left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 85 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. 袁 (Yuan) 聪嵘 (Congrong) was the replacement. After 85 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Kor Faye who increased Sadistan's lead to 1 - 4. The bench was restless, and with 89 minutes passed Valiant's coach gave Willhelm Lehrte the opportunity the player had been hoping for. Vincent Flierler reluctantly left the field. After 89 minutes of the match, the manager still hoped to turn things around. Petro Åberg was ordered to assume a different position on the pitch. He took the place of Donatello Radessich, who in turn replaced his team mate. With Donatello Radessich no longer on the pitch, Petro Åberg took over free kick duty. After 89 minutes, Valiant switched Silveri Fontanals with László Oskó, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. It was announced by the referee that he estimated stoppage time to be around 2 minutes. This meant there could still be an extra attack or two left in the match! The match ends 1 - 4. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Sadistan, with 61 percent of the ball.

László Oskó performed admirably for Valiant. Willhelm Lehrte was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Sadistan player was without a doubt Abramo Pagello. However, Karsten Strnad made a disastrous appearance.
