Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 2008 to Shoot to kill. was the appointed referee with assistance provided by and Aleksy Rozpędowski. The match took place on neutral ground. Eisenfüße started off with a 5-5-0 lineup. The following players took the field: Rosan - Montesi, Cousino, Giuffreda, Motyl, McCambridge - Varchmin, Bigović, Sörensson, Herrnleben, Tsarouchis -.

A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Haschheim. Starters: Wiedemeyer - Lachmuth, Striewski, Seipelt - Lutteroth, Mumm, Huettinger, Odenthal, Ésper - Wannehr, Stuttgart.

Eisenfüße mostly relied on their weak long range shooting ability. 17 minutes into the game, Eisenfüße seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a inadequate level of organisation. Eisenfüße mounted an inspired counterattack down the right wing after 32 minutes, but Efthimis Tsarouchis was unable to convert from short range. Eisenfüße's slick passing moves completely confused the defence after 39 minutes, but thanks to Marius Wiedemeyer's miraculous save from Efthimis Tsarouchis's long shot the score remained unchanged. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Yannick Lutteroth from Haschheim a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 41 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Danilo César Ésper of Haschheim was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. The referee showed Eisenfüße's Ben Varchmin the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 0 - 0 was the halftime score. Haschheim had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of Eisenfüße was able to get his message across, and raised Eisenfüße's organisation to solid. Helge Wannehr got new instructions from the Haschheim coach after 46 minutes. He changed positions with Yannick Lutteroth soon after. There was concern in the stands when, at the 57 minute mark, Haschheim's Armin Huettinger hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. Eisenfüße almost scored after a counterattack 59 minutes into the match, but Bogdan Motyl took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. With 76 minutes gone, Eisenfüße's Ben Varchmin had to leave the pitch after talking back to the referee and receiving his second booking. 77 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Eisenfüße was Dean McCambridge. Eisenfüße's Fausto Montesi got himself booked for a foul. Domenic Striewski was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Haschheim's Jannik Nicolaisen had to come off the bench. With Domenic Striewski no longer on the pitch, Helge Wannehr took over free kick duty. Lutz Seipelt became the new Haschheim captain. Haschheim tied it all up, 82 minutes in, after a spectacular goal by Dominik Stuttgart, who miraculously broke through the home side's central defence, making it 1 - 1. Eisenfüße's Isidro Cousino had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 85 minutes having been played. Leon Rossberg was the replacement. Possession in this half belonged to Haschheim, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

As neither team had managed to win, extra time was called. A review of the gameplan helped Eisenfüße get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. 91 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Haschheim substitution. Kamil Iwanowski came on for Armin Huettinger. As the clock reached 91 minutes, Haschheim decided to regroup. Lutz Seipelt gave Wolff Odenthal a little pat on the back as they changed positions on the pitch. As the 91 minute mark approached, the Haschheim coach decided it was time for a substitution. Henrik Mumm reluctantly made way for Torben Hamburg on the pitch. Efthimis Tsarouchis gave Eisenfüße the lead with a beautiful free kick after 99 minutes. 2 - 1! Most important Eisenfüße player was Ðorde Bigović. On the other hand, Thomas Giuffreda's play was disheartening. Haschheim's top performer was clearly Jannik Nicolaisen. However, Marius Wiedemeyer made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 1.
