SCS 4 - 3 BugaTor

The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 1817 had shown up at Schanzenpark for the match. Irfan Bakti bin Soh was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Yotam Kotler and Silvinho de Oliveira. SCS decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. The following players had been chosen: Volarević - Hammer, Giry, Ollonen - Manzano, Schwendner, Hadad, Gayrat Uulu, Olsson - Samró, Sternschanze.

BugaTor started off with a 2-5-3 lineup. Starters: Patania - Klintstad, Burk - Porquinho, Allraun, Brunst, Maridis, Feutchmann - Lambert, Tezcanlı, Volpe.

SCS's Mousa Hadad left the field after 6 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was Leonid Datsenko. As Mousa Hadad exited the field, Bjørn Hammer volunteered to be the new set pieces taker. The guests took the lead 10 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in Valentin Lambert scoring to make it 0 - 1. The crowd chanted their encouragement as SCS's Kristian Samró came in from the right after 12 minutes and put the ball in the net to level the score at 1 - 1. 28 minutes in, SCS's Miska Ollonen received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Christian Klintstad of BugaTor had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. Michael Reddermann came in to finish the match. With 31 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 2 - 1 lead as Ahuizótl Manzano flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. It was 2 - 1 at the break. Possession of the ball saw an equal split between the teams during the forty-five minutes.

BugaTor levelled the score after 61 minutes to make it 2 - 2, as Valentin Lambert struck home after a fine midfield combination through the centre, which left him completely unmarked. After a fine move down the middle Ahuizótl Manzano nearly gave the home side a goal after 64 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. Plinio Porquinho of BugaTor seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 2 - 3 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by Renos Maridis. With the crowd on their feet chanting wildly, some great moves down the right hand side after 77 minutes gave SCS a wonderful opportunity to level the score, and Seytikul Gayrat Uulu stepped up to the challenge. 3 - 3 SCS had a chance to take the lead after Per Olsson's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 78 minutes. SCS showed their counterattack skill 82 minutes into the match by breaking through the middle, with Leonid Datsenko scoring uncontested for 4 - 3. BugaTor were close to putting the equaliser away after 83 minutes as the opposing defence lost control of the ball to Frank Burk in a scuffle towards the left of the goal, but in the end the ball was cleared over the dead ball line. SCS enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

Kristian Samró performed admirably for SCS. Leonid Datsenko was a disappointment, however. BugaTor's top performer was clearly Ergün Tezcanlı. Frank Burk turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 3.
