It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 3372 that came out to Hölle des Gehörnten. Ezequiel Perez Fernandez was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Wicher Rustenburg and Jopie Laurensse. The match took place on neutral ground. Brüllaffen tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. The following players took the field: Bontekoe - Trufan, Speciale, Yläkorpi, Coroneo - Tohoop, Adalakis, Boro, Pinsino - Moroz, Balog.

ASB decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Starters: Merkle - Bertolotti, Árgyelán, Wäckerlin - Meffle, Clough, Pitzecker, García de Toledo, Rubiales - Krstić, Puntanen.

Today, Brüllaffen's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks, taking advantage of their magical level with that tactic. Helmut Pitzecker of ASB seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 0 - 1 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by Barnabás Árgyelán. Brüllaffen had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. After 21 minutes Brüllaffen tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately, Piotr Boro's shot sailed wide after his break down the right. The visitors' Jovan Krstić took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 30 minutes into the match. 0 - 2 for ASB. It was obvious that Brüllaffen had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. Halftime score was 0 - 2. Brüllaffen claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.

The bench was restless, and with 70 minutes passed Brüllaffen's coach gave Shaked Gat the opportunity the player had been hoping for. Daniel Trufan reluctantly left the field. Unhappy with the result so far in the game, the Brüllaffen manager used a brief break in play after 70 minutes to give the players new directives. As the game started to slip away for Brüllaffen, the manager decided to change the tactical approach. ASB's Ville Puntanen was shown a yellow card after 71 minutes for slicing down an opponent. A loud groan was heard from the fans of Brüllaffen, as József Balog left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. Antonakis Alatas took his place on the field. ASB's Josef Meffle got himself booked for a foul. Antonakis Alatas didn't pace himself at all, and after a series of daring offensive runs he was too tired to help out in the defensive play. Attacking on the wings was the choice for Brüllaffen, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack. Brüllaffen enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

Brüllaffen's best player was Igor Moroz. However, Antonakis Alatas made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating ASB player was without a doubt Jovan Krstić. Lorenzo Bertolotti turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 2.
