2-21-2018 MER United Bali wins the Indonesia Ruby Challenger Cup for the second time
15 months / 63 weeks after winning the first Ruby Challenger cup (597093426) in the club and manager history, the players entered the pitch for another final. (621142289)
We faced Demang Lebar Daun (113215) of manager Agathama. We were lucky enough to avoid the top 2 in the semi-final, but we didn't want to follow Ajax like last season in the Europa League.
Demang took the lead when May Halim thought that 1-1 would make a nicer score on the screen. Just after tea time Majid Habaschi brought Demang in Pole Position for the win, but in a fortunate 15 minutes Good Old Erry Pohan en Andhi Supriarso turned the score from 2-1 to 2-4.
The after match analysis was that we stole the victory from Demang Lebar Daun, wherefore we apologies to manager Agathama.
Nice fact is that 11 from the players that played our first final, are still part of our team and played the second final too!
