Interview with stoppe - our U-20 coach

Wow, stoppe (7399689) did it again! Bahraini people seem to be really satisfied with his great job and gave him a chance to go on it
His 3rd term just has begun, unfortunately we lost our first match, but don't worry people, this guy will do his best in order to achieve his goal!

Do we know anything about his private life? Yeah, a little bit.
Stephan is a 27-year-old citizen of Germany, who lives in Thuringian Forrest (in the middle of his country). He works as a tinsmith - sheet metal master craftsman. To my astonishment, he doesn't like much the real football, but luckily he's keen on Hattrick. Our coach is really interested in local women's volleyball - his favourite team plays in the Bundesliga - and photography. In his leisure he loves playing volleyball.

MemfiS: At first, I am obliged to say: "Congratulations!". You have become the U20 coach once again, how do you feel?

stoppe: I'm really happy thanks to all people, who voted for me once again. It's the 3rd time now, but it is still great pleasure for me to be responsible for the Bahraini U-20 team.

MemfiS: How about the number of votes - are you satisfied or not necessarily?

stoppe: 4 or 5 votes for the future coach is an average result in Bahrain. Only Siggi Schleifer got 8 out of 10 votes in season 39 - it was an amazing achievement. But this time I think it was a clear result.

MemfiS: Sorry, but the following question must be shown in our interview - is it possible to encourage the Bahraini HT society to be more active?

stoppe: We still hope that it's possible. Me and Droopy have started some activities, which should help to encourage people. MyHt and maybe even this interview will attract players' attention and force them to follow some threads in the national forum.

MemfiS: Let's focus on our future opponents. Do you think we might be at least 4th team in this group? I have to admit that such a result would be awesome, wouldn't it?

stoppe:
That would be a great result indeed. Our main opponents are Poland, Estonia and Croatia for sure. Hopefully, they "steal" some points each other and will make it easier for Bahrain to chase them.

MemfiS: Do you have any revolutionary ideas connected with leading U-20 team? Would you like to change something?

stoppe:
I don't think we need to change anything. DelBoy84 has joined the staff recently and will take care about the U-17 players in the close future. We have too much randomness when it comes to these young players and for instance there are 12 potential wingers for the U-20 team, whereas we don't have any valuable defenders. It's not easy to intervene in this "area", so if the community was more extended, it would be really beneficial for Bahraini national teams.

MemfiS: Are you going to open a special thread before every important matches? I mean the thread, where you would write some information about the opponent's country (maybe some interesting facts) or about tactics etc.

stoppe:
There is 1 special thread in our forum - "Road to Panama". I'll give there some statistics and information about our opponents. Maybe even some tactics, but only in case of ended match ;)

MemfiS: Would you mind extending your staff? Is there anybody, who help you with tactics?

stoppe:
Help is welcome at any time. The majority of the tactics is my own "nonsense", but discussing about tactics will be also available at NT/U-20 federation - like it was being done in the past.

MemfiS: It's your 3rd term, are you going to take a part in next elections?

stoppe: No - this one will be my last in Bahrain. It's no use trying to become a U-20 coach in another country for me.

MemfiS: And what about the NT coach, would you like to lead our NT in the future?

stoppe: Droopy does a great job and it would be difficult to replace him. It was not easy in his first term but I think he'll do better next time. Being nt-coach in a very small or big country is the most ungrateful job ;)

MemfiS: Thanks for the interview, I wish you good luck!

stoppe:
Thank you too. I just would like to remind that we have 54 active players in Bahrain right now - it's a really awesome result.
