Interview with Condemor_cadista, winner of OPC6

We are delighted to present to your attention Condemor_cadista, the winner of Oman Prediction Contest VI. As you all know, the winner of each prediction contest earns an interview for the Oman Feature section, among other things. Now, albeit with some delay, we have taken an interview with the two times winner of the OPC. He is a true prediction veteran!

Interview taken on 06.12.2009.

1. Hello, Condemor_cadista! Thank you for agreeing to give a second interview for the Omani HT community. This is the first time someone is giving a second interview, but you deserved it with your second consecutive victory at the Omani Prediction Contest last season. So tell us, what has changed for you in HT since the last time?

Hi again!! First of all, I'm very happy for give another interview for the Omani HT Community, this is a big prize for me ;). I think nothing changed. Well, maybe this season and the last one I have some more time, so I can study the matches better. Well, and for this reason, last season and this one I am not using the "Copy-Kempa" tactic that I used 2-3 times on the first OPC edition, hahaha. (Cheers, Kempa! ;) )

2. Obviously, being able to win two prediction contests in a row, in such a serious company, is no coincidence. What's your secret? How do you manage to give the most punctual predictions for the matches, week after week?

I do not have any secret ;). I only have some time to watch the last match ratings, and if the teams bought some players on the last days... Watching that, I predict the exact score and cross my fingers!! (And I wish good luck to Oman and to the OPC participants this week!)

3. Your club has been steadily progressing up the ranks of the Spanish league. Did you suppose that you would be so successful when you started playing? And do you have some long-term plans about the future of your team? how do you plan to develop it, in what direction?

No, of course!! When I started the game in XI division I only though about climbing divisions, and the best challenge for me would be to arrive to first division or something like that, but when I started, I thought that to be in VIII division would be nice... Then, that being in VI division would be the best... And so on. As a good manager, I always want to improve my team and myself.. ;). But V division is very high now... Although I was very near to promotion this year hehe.

Well, at the end of last season I changed my team training, so this year wasn't easy for me, although I'm having a very nice season. I changed from playmaking to defense, because I always trained PM and I was receiving very few money. I needed a change, and finally I chose defense for training.

4. How about training national players? Have you considered such a prospect at some point, and if yes, would you rather take Spanish young talents, or develop foreign ones? And which would you prefer - giving a fast kick-start to youngsters for the U20 team, or taking a NT player over a large period of time and developing them to a very high level? And after all, do you think this is worth the effort at all?

I never trained any national players for NT or U20. At some point I thought of training some players for Benin, Brunei, or some country like that, but I think it isn't an easy work. I think I can't answer this question because I'm a newbie on NT and U20 teams, and at the moment I'm not interested in that. So I can't tell you anything about that :S. If I would do something, I think I would train a U20 player, but I don't know any more, I would have to study it hard ;).

5. You've been following the development of the Omani community and the U20 and NT team of the country for some time. Could you share your observations with us? Are they going in the right direction, and what should be done to make the national teams develop faster and better?

As I told you on the last question, I do not understand so much on NT and U20 Teams... Anyway, on the matches I saw on OPC, sometimes I was surprised with Oman NT and U20 teams, getting some good results, being a small country it is very hard. But, on the other hand, it is normal. I have absolute trust in Assim and in Kingmiha, they are very good managers. Go!

6. You have won two of the 6 OPC contests so far, so you should already be considered a veteran. And yet, your thirst for more success doesn't seem to be vanishing. What fuels this constant enthusiasm? And would you propose some improvements in the Contest, and the Omani HT community as a whole, to make it an even better place for its friends?

Hahaha, I'm not a veteran, mate!! I'm already so young!! :P. Well, I'm so competitive, so if some game appeals to me, I will play it when I can, of course!! :D.

About the Omani HT Comunnity.. Well, I know it is a small country, but I would like to see more Omani users talking there.. :(. It's very hard to do something for improving a community with so few users... Although I think games like OPC are very good for the community because they get a lot of foreign users who talk there.

As for OPC... I think it's very nice now, the NT match, 2-3 Omani matches and a participant's match.. Maybe we could add a real important match, like a spanish league match, or a premier league match, or something like that... But well, it wouldn't be only HT... hehe. Like now it's very nice ;)

PS: Do you remember the team I support in real life, Cádiz CF?

I talked a bit about it on the last interview ;). We were in the first division 4-5 years ago, and after some bad seaasons, we fell down to the 2nd division "B" (Third division). Finally, last season we promoted to 2nd division again!!! And now we are playing to stay in the 2nd division for another year, and in the near future we'll try to climb to first division again! ;)

For those who know him... this season we bought Diego Tristán, the ex-Deportivo de la Coruña striker, scoring a lot of goals in Europe with "Superdepor" and some goals on Spain NT.

Well, thanks to all of you for reading me!!
