Clouds darkened the skies at Stadler Arena as 25259 spectators turned up for the match. Gamal Al-Rumaihi was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jason Sohier and 洪 (Hong) 皓翔 (Haoxiang). Starters: Kingelsperger - D'Haese, Drakbo, Viro - Scurati, Vargas, Marini, Heiz, Narvaez Campos - Mainardi, Hühner.

The following players took the field: Arvanitidis - Lienhard, Plessi, Wies - Baron, Sowiński, Pöllänen, Andreasson - Ferla, Čaklovica, Andersson.

Dynamo Feusisberg trundled out to the pitch in a 3-5-2 formation. The visitors, Blue-White Hoppers, chose to start the game with a 3-4-3 lineup. Like a mighty wizard in the hellish lair of the balrog, Feusisberg is aiming to smother the Hephaestian flames of attack with passable skill. Trespass is forbidden! Alas, Balrog, you shall not pass! A wonderful trick by Mattia Scurati after 17 minutes left Birger Wies bewildered and really deserved to end in a goal but the keeper made a fine save. The pressing tactics used by Feusisberg were successful as the ball didn't make it out of the middle third very much. Slack defending gave Feusisberg a chance to take the lead with 25 minutes played, but Enric Vargas's cross from the left flank was met gratefully by the opposition who cleared it to safety. Feusisberg had a chance to take the lead after Pedro Raúl Marini's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled away as his shot went just over the bar with 27 minutes played. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Feusisberg's Karl-Axel Drakbo got himself booked. Feusisberg broke through on the left after 40 minutes, with Pedro Raúl Marini firing at an impossible angle to give the home side a 1 - 0 lead. Maybe Joel Pöllänen should join the aquatics team instead. He went down dramatically after 41 minutes, crying out with agony as he fell. The referee was not impressed, though, and showed him a yellow for diving. With 44 minutes played, Blue-White's Zuhdija Čaklovica received a yellow card for challenging a play with his cleats first. It emerged that Mattia Scurati had hurt his left foot after 44 minutes, which led him to abandon the game. This gave Dimitar Ignatov a chance to take to the field instead. It was 1 - 0 at the break. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Feusisberg, with an impressive 61 percent possession of the ball.

Content with how the game was proceeding, the Feusisberg coach let Łucjan Wiloch come on for Miroslav Viro after 46 minutes. Feusisberg's Dani Heiz wanted to play on, but after 60 minutes the decision was made to give Fredy Cappuccio a chance in his place. After 64 minutes, the visitors evened the score after Pius Lienhard made it through the middle and struck home making it 1 - 1. Feusisberg made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left Łucjan Wiloch completely alone with keeper Ermis Arvanitidis, who made a spectacular block. With 71 minutes gone, Feusisberg's organization began to suffer due to a lack of experience. The fourth official announced that there would be 2 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. As neither team had managed to win, 30 minutes of extra time was called. Feusisberg did a good job holding on to the ball, with 62 percent of possession. We'll be back after these interminable commercial messages.

Feusisberg's coach went over the strategy again during the break, and after that his players had solid organization. Enric Vargas brought the corner down with his chest before whipping it to Fredy Cappuccio who had the whole net open before him, but his attempt hit the post. After 114 minutes, Björn Hühner was massaging his right knee with a worried look on his face, but managed to get up in the end. Feusisberg pressed their opponents, causing the game to be a bit of a deadlock at times. Still tied after extra time, the crowd was buzzing as the teams prepared for a penalty kick shootout to determine the winner.

Feusisberg's Giuliano Mainardi proved he has nerves of steel from the penalty spot, changing the score to 2 - 1. Blue-White's Ermis Arvanitidis kept his cool as he went up against Phillip Kingelsperger. His composure paid off as he scored easily for 2 - 2. Feusisberg's Renaud D'Haese didn't hesitate but Ermis Arvanitidis managed the save, resulting in an unchanged 2 - 2 score. Blue-White's Virgilio Plessi made no mistake. Phillip Kingelsperger didn't have a chance. 2 - 3. Feusisberg's Pedro Raúl Marini cockily booted the ball after a short run-up. The penalty, going just wide of the mark, didn't produce a goal. Oh, the sweet feet of technical Albert Sowiński... His left one gave Blue-White a lovely goal. 2 - 4. Feusisberg's Enric Vargas looked nervous on his walk from the center circle. He didn't take much of a run up, and his weak shot was easily saved by the keeper. The match ends 2 - 4. Most important Feusisberg player was Pedro Raúl Marini. Good thing Dimitar Ignatov isn't a horse, because he'd surely be sent to the glue factory after that performance. Gabriele Ferla performed admirably for Blue-White. Speaking of stinking up the place, Birger Wies sure smelled like the bottom of Batman's shoe after a night of crimefighting in Gotham.
