10578 fans turned up at Młotkownia, and despite threatening clouds, no rain came. Klaas Kunsch was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Elton Jari and Manolios Fonsos. Lineup: Lynen - Meineke, Żywczyn, Lecler, Whittle - Balestra, Misiurek, Siłkowski - Frydryk, Jarmużek, Kordyka.

They fielded: Quijano - Grenda, Humphries, Weiss, Bizoń - Madaliński, Grzeszkowiak, Draga, Kułagowski, Szymkowiak - Kolas.

It was to be a contest between two different football philosophies, since the home team started the game with a 4-3-3 formation while the visitors instead opted for a 4-5-1. MŁOTKI went for a narrow approach, using their supernatural ability to focus their attacks down the middle. It was an obvious ambition of BZB to play a wide game with their brilliant ability to attack down the wings. After 4 minutes cheers broke out as Michał Kordyka found his way through the guests' central defensive line, rattling the 1 - 0 goal in off the woodwork for MŁOTKI. With 33 minutes played, BZB's Wojciech Kolas received a yellow card for challenging a play with his cleats first. The MŁOTKI free kick 36 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But it was no mistake - Michał Kordyka seemingly came out of nowhere and had miles of space to control the ball and pick his spot. That's 2 - 0! After more pushing and shoving than a pack of helicopter moms trying to get the last appointment for their snowflakes to see the Easter Bunny, BZB's Włodzimierz Kułagowski finally got himself booked for a foul. MŁOTKI's Secondo Balestra saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates 38 minutes in. When Wojciech Kolas made yet another spikes-first tackle after 40 minutes, the referee was obliged to book the BZB player for the second time, which automatically ejected him from the game. MŁOTKI solidified their lead at the 41 minute mark, as Alfredo Whittle snaked the ball through the central line of defense and finished for 3 - 0. 42 minutes in, BZB appeared unsure on how to play and their organization was only inadequate. 3 - 0 was the halftime score. Neither team had an advantage in possession this half.

BZB's coach went over the strategy again during the break, and after that his players had solid organization. BZB had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to go down the wing instead. 70 minutes into the game, BZB had difficulty finding their positions and their organization dropped to inadequate. MŁOTKI had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle instead. Jakub Siłkowski should probably have put his team up another goal after 78 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by Juan Antonio Quijano kept the visitors in the game. Good work by BZB's defensive line after 79 minutes produced a good counter-attack chance, one of which cut elegantly down the middle of the field and found Włodzimierz Kułagowski alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. 81 minutes into the game, BZB seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to wretched. It was announced by the fourth official that he estimated stoppage time to be around 2 minutes. This meant there could still be an extra attack or two left in the match! The match ends 3 - 0. The Count appeared on the jumbotron and announced that MŁOTKI had 53...53 percent possession. AH AH AH!

MŁOTKI's best player was Czesław Frydryk. You can tell it was nickel beer night yesterday at the local bar because Wolfdietrich Meineke seemed to stumble all over the pitch. The most outstanding BZB player was without a doubt Ambroży Weiss. Good thing Sławomir Bizoń isn't a horse, because he'd surely be sent to the glue factory after that performance.
