2308 spectators arrived at Estadio de la Revolución Berlin (QQQQK-Memorial), where weather conditions were pretty good for soccer. Elpidio Buchinier was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Mats Lewbrant and Cesare Riaglia. The following players had been selected: Brooijmans - Below, Molisch, Annunziato - Michel, Laios, 聪嵘 (Congrong), Bruschera - Valino, Krusell, Jouannet.

They fielded: Hůlek - Bontemps, Vallon, Berghoff, Martineau - Dias Afonso, Sánchez-Bella, Goetz-Mayrhofer, Ainasoja, Jobin - Ottokore.

Rep. of Sadistan trundled out to the pitch in a 3-4-3 formation. The visitors, La Closerie, chose to start the game with a 4-5-1 lineup. Iván Valino's name was chanted throughout the stadium after his goal in minute 10 following a run up the middle gave Sadistan the 1 - 0 lead. After more pushing and shoving than a pack of helicopter moms trying to get the last appointment for their snowflakes to see the Easter Bunny, Closerie's Abdel-Kader Ottokore finally got himself booked for a foul. With 21 minutes played, a typically brave header by Sadistan's Nikolaj Krusell from Leandro Bruschera's centered ball looped just over the opposing goalkeeper's desperate reach, making the score 2 - 0. The score became 3 - 0 with 25 minutes played, when Sadistan were given a penalty. 袁 (Yuan) 聪嵘 (Congrong) made no mistake and increased the home lead. 29 minutes into the game, Geoffroy Vallon had to leave the field due to a rib injury. Gabriel Muselettried to hide a smile as he entered the field. He had not expected to get a chance this day. Rodolphe Bontemps was handed the Closerie captain's armband. 袁 (Yuan) 聪嵘 (Congrong) gave Sadistan supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 4 - 0 after 32 minutes, following a good exchange of passes on the right that the away team failed to deal with. Always a threat, Leandro Bruschera tore past his marker and placed the ball right at the feet of the waiting Iván Valino who should have easily scored for Sadistan, but the ball went wide. Closerie's Hans Goetz-Mayrhofer was shown a yellow card after 42 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The teams went for the halftime break at 4 - 0. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Sadistan, with an impressive 65 percent possession of the ball.

Things were going from bad to worse for the visitors. Lionel Jouannet was able to squirm through the central defense after 56 minutes and score, bringing the lead to 5 - 0. Nicolas Michel had put in a good 60 minutes and left the field with a smile on his face due to his team's lead. Valfredo Quiroga was the replacement. With 63 minutes played, Iván Valino could have brought this one home for Sadistan as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. With 64 minutes played, Sadistan's Iván Valino received a yellow card for challenging a play with his cleats first. Sadistan's Lionel Jouannet saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates 67 minutes in. The Sadistan coach was happy with the scoreline, but still wanted to change the lineup. After 70 minutes, Ionuţ-Gabriel Morteanu came on for Lionel Jouannet. 81 minutes had passed when Sadistan put themselves up 6 - 0 after the visiting defenders lost the ball to Tino Molisch, who came up from the left and proceeded to easily go around the goalkeeper and knock the ball home. Elias Berghoff went down after twisting his right ankle in minute 86, but was able to continue the match nonetheless. The fourth official announced that there would be 2 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. The match ends 6 - 0. The Count appeared on the jumbotron and announced that Sadistan had 64...64 percent possession. AH AH AH!

Sadistan's best player was Ionuţ-Gabriel Morteanu. Good thing Fabio Annunziato isn't a horse, because he'd surely be sent to the glue factory after that performance. Closerie's top performer was clearly Elias Berghoff. I can't remember Rodolphe Bontemps ever having a worse night than he just had.
