-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are back again and now during the winter holidays Mongolian Interview Series presents it's third interview. This time we interviewed U-20 Mongol Uls coach Treeofpan, who is no doubt a part of Mongolian ht-community.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

TODAY'S INTERVIEW: Treeofpain(5229841)
MONGOL ULS CLUB NAME: National Team U-20 Mongol Uls

Enjoy:

MOHP: Tell us some things about you.

Treeofpain: I am 28 years old and I live in Graz, Austria. I am on night duty for a company which does the support for other concerns. In addition I work in a tattoo studio and at the moment I am doing a new education in order to become a 'piercer'.
In my free time I love to play FIFA, go out with my friends, get tattooed and of course play Hattrick!

MOHP: How did you find out about Hattrick?

Treeofpain: Some years ago (in 2006 ... wow, I am old haha) one of my best friends told me something about Hattrick and I decided to have a look at his team (players, stadium, transfers, etc.). Only one day later I founded my own team and immediately I felt in love with this great game.

MOHP: You've been elected as Mongol Uls U-20 coach two times in a row this year, tell us why you choose Mongol Uls?

Treeofpain: Well, I observed the development of this country for a few seasons so I got more and more interested in it.
Basically I was/am impressed of rather smaller ht-countries which want to reach high targets. I was/am always searching for new challenges in any case so I decided to be active in the forum and show my interest in doing something new and different.
I bear no relation to mongolia in real life but I hope this will change someday!

MOHP: What that supposed to mean, are you planing to visit Mongolia in near future? :)

Treeofpain: If it's possilbe (money, job, time) I would like to do a lot of travels in the future because I think it's important for yourself to get to know other people, other religions, other cultures, other opinions and other views. And of course mongolia could be an option.

MOHP: How do you think have such a small ht-country like Mongol Uls chances to qualify in WC some day? I mean U-20 and NT as well.

Treeofpain: Yes, I am certain of it!
Of course it's easier to qualify for big ht-countries like germany or italy. More active users, a bigger player-pool, a bigger community with many willing managers to help, etc.
But I think it's also possible for rather small countries if you have an experienced coach, some committed scouts, an involved community, serious/reliable owners for players and some luck. In the best case for the long term.
Honestly sometimes it's difficult for me to be an U20-coach (bad results, failed transfers, wrong training, etc.) but generally we are headed in the right direction.

MOHP: Right direction Sounds good! Is there anything you would like to change/improove regarding Mongolian U-20? Maybe you need more of scouts or you have lack of farm clubs or everything is in good order now?

Treeofpain: I am very self-critical and strict with myself and in my opinion there are always things to improve. But essentially considering the small number of active managers, the small player-pool and the difficult status of this game (financial problems, decreasingly members) I am quite satisfied with the current situation.
I am looking forward to the next days, weeks and months and I hope I could help mongolia further on.

MOHP: I see a blue star close to your username, but don't see any second team. Are you waiting for a free spot in Mongolia for your future second team or there's no any second team at all among your future plans?

Treeofpain: Concerning the blue star: honestly I got this as a little present from one of my friends here, a very friendly and likable manager :)

I decided to have only one team further on. In real life and in HT-life I always stand for tradition and history in football and it's important for me to retain this attitude.
Aside from that in my opinion the HTs go the wrong way with this feature. They are looking more and more for money and not on the single user or new useful/funny improvements. In my opinion Hattrick always stand for individuality, personality, uniqueness and community, in conjunction with anonymity. And now I have the impression that these parts drop away somehow.

But now I am ok with that, I can't change it anyway.
I got to know very nice and interesting managers with their 2nd teams here in mongolia and I am able to appreciate the advantages of 2nd teams, as for instance the youth-acadmies.

I hope we could spend together a nice future and suprise the big ht-world with sportive success ... coaches, scouts, managers of the 2nd teams and of course local managers, too.

MOHP: I know you are playing with 18 yo (close to 19 yo) players in U-20 now to train an expirience for those guys. How do you think this generation is able to surprice us with the rusults on the next WC?

Treeofpain: Definitely!
We have a strong and balanced team in a good age, most of the players will be able to play the whole wcq. In addition we have more players with specialities and the advantage of experience.
That`s not only because of the 2nd teams, it was just their first season. The local managers did a great job with their youth-academies and me and my scouts were able to place most of these youngsters to serious new managers. The players have motivated and reliable owners now and I have the feeling that they are really looking forward to the next wcq in order to see their guys fighting for points.

Of course we will need some luck but it's important to think positive and to believe in success ... then it will be possible to perform miracles!

MOHP: Will you participate in next U-20 elections?

Treeofpain: Honestly I don't know it exactly because at the moment I am very busy in my real life and it's possible that I won't have enough time to do this job in the future. I only run for election again if I will be able to do it 100%.
The development of mongolia has to go forwards and of course I would like to lead our youngsters a 3rd time and finally manage to qualify for the world cup.

MOHP: How do you see HT in the future? Are there any feature you would like to work on?

Treeofpain: I don`t know what's going on in the future.
But I think there are a lot of possibilities to improve the game. New stadiums (wurst stands, new/other roofs, seats, ...), more options to form players (new/other hairs, eyes, mouths, noses, ears ... colored shoes, tattoos, ...), a pensioner-team, a women-team, a new sponsor-version, etc.
But it should be easy to play further on at the same time. The quiet simple base frame and graphic is a big characteristic part of this game and I think they shouldn`t change it.

MOHP: Thanks for your time, merry christmas and happy new year! :)

Treeofpain: My pleasure!
Merry christmas and a happy new year for you, too!
