Mashan: I enjoy Hattrick as a strategy game

An interview with Mashan (8111779), manager of the Holetown 3W's (987606) - owner of young defender / set piece taker from Barbados NT - Richie Julien (388951849).

My team name has 3 W's after Walcott, Worrell and Weaks who were three great Barbadian cricket players...

- Could you please introduce yourself?
I am a retired software engineer who got lucky and saw the world with my job.

- Did you have a mentor at the beginning of your career to help and guide you through the first steps of running your team?
I did not have a mentor and cannot see how one helps if strategy games are your forte (I play chess).

- You have your second team in Barbados. Why did you choose this country? Are you connected to it somehow (RL or HT)? How do you interact with locals, if at all?
I chose Babrbados for a second team since my wife's forefather is on their $20 bill and I know the island.

- Tell us something about your second team. What is the inspiration for your team name?
My team name has 3 W's after Walcott, Worrell and Weaks who were three great Barbadian cricket players that all Badians were once very proud of and I remember those times.

- If second teams had been allowed only in your own country, would you have opened one?
I would have a second team whatever, but England is my home nation so I would have chosen their had I not got Barbados.

- What motivates you to continue in Hattrick after so many years?
I enjoy Hattrick as a strategy game and a chance to talk politics on IPF forum.

- How do you see HT in the future? Are there any feature you would like to have developed or changed?
I think Hattrick will die soon as the price is to high for most people to justify. So the only feature I would like is a lower pricing structure. I have 3 years on membership left.
