20 years of Hattrick - interview with leftarmover

Hattrick is turning 20 years today and that's why we present an interview with one of the oldest user from Barbados - leftarmover (11722940). He is Hattrick user since 13th October 2011.

HP: What keeps you into Hattrick for such a long period?
It's very addictive! I particularly like the way you build success (hopefully!) using a strategy over time, it's not just a quick game and then you lose interest. The developers have also done a good job modernising the game without losing its charm.

HP: How was Hattrick back then and how it is right now?
I think the basic game is pretty much the same, just more options for managers and better tools to try to reach success now.

HP: If there was one change you would like to see made to hattrick to help the evolution of the game and to keep you logging in to your team for the next x years, what would it be?
Very tough question! I'd like to see more specialist types to allow for a deeper level of tactical thinking and options for managers. I think this is happening a bit anyway, but some of the old speciality types seem a bit obsolete. I'd shake all of that up. I wouldn't change the essence of the game though.

HP: Please tell us a bit about your most memorable match and why it meant so much to you?
(45112592) This is the match which effectively won us our league title. We had only been going 6 seasons before we won this title, which I think was a great achievement. We then had to go back and rebuild and I think we have a cracking team now with the future very bright.

HP: How much the person behind your user changed in real life in all this time?
Still a big kid at heart!
