What could be described as the nothing more than the hard work of Regia5 and a Miracle here and there
In what would seem to be the greatest result ever for India U20, under the experienced and able hands of Regia5..
The very first game we drew against U-20 Prateh Kampuchea, everyone was quick to jump the gun and when we lost to U-20 Chinese Taipei.. It seemed like another disappointing campaign was under way..
I lost interest and decided rather not watch another heartbreak.. Though it was a tough group there was a huge shocker when we defeated U20 Uruguay And we lost then again to England straight away
Then out of the Blue, seriously i had no hand in it.. but a series of results going our way threw us right behind England... in 3rd.. This is when i decided to get in tune with the U20..
The last 2 games were on.. England has had to lose.. and we had to win.. we won but England won with a last gasp winner...
The fianle: England vs Uruguay and India vs Iraq, India being 1 point behind England and so for the very first time India qualified.
The celebrations have not stopped. Regia5 has been offered daughters from India to take as his bride.. (sorry bad joke couldn't help it)
A national Monument will be constructed if he wins any medal..
Jokes Apart.. The wonder run has begun and fingers are crossed for making it through to Round 3
