We have fixed two bugs, one affected coach updates and the other youth player promotions.

The first caused non-player coaches to not lose leadership over time as they normally would have done. This benevolent state of affairs (at least for the teams affected) has now ended, and all coaches will now regularly lose leadership in equal measure as their players get tired of what they have to say.

The second bug caused youth players to not always get the correct amount of experience when being promoted into the senior team. This is fixed since Friday, and for all upcoming updates.

Some of this week's Cup matches, almost all of them in Poland, but also including a small number of matches in 23 other leagues, were affected by a bug that caused some street teams to field less than 11 players, in some cases even resulting in walk-overs. The bug has been fixed, but sadly the matches cannot be replayed. We sincerely apologise to all teams affected by this bug. However, please be aware that your players have received training as if they had played the match, and your team confidence, team spirit and formation experience were updated as usual. Players will receive this match's experience today, but you will not get a notification in case your player pops up a level of experience in this match.

This morning/early afternoon we were confronted with some server issues again. This time however we were able to restore services a lot earlier than last week even though we preferred this not to have happened at all. Any affected transfers have been extended by a couple of hours. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

It is now possible to sign up (if you have additional team slots available) to the new leagues Bahamas and Rwanda.

If you are closing an additional team, there will be a temporary exception to the regular 16 weeks rule, which means you will be able to get a new team immediately. However, this exception is only available if you use the Stage server - everyone using the regular server will need to wait until Monday.

If you are in this situation, either try to get access to Stage, where you will be able to sign up immediately, or wait until Monday.

Another small detail: The correct flags will also only be available on Stage until Monday.

We need to temporarily limit the amount of push notifications that goes out from matches to mobiles. We will still send notifications from the match start and match end, as well as any goals. However, missed chances, injuries, substitutions and so on will not be sent this coming week.

The reason is that we are working on an update to the messaging service, and this work coincides with the Generation Trophies, an event that significantly increases the amount of messages. We aim for this to return to normal by next weekend.

We are aware of a delay with training updates for the Hattrick International and Hattrick Anniversary League. This affected every team in the above leagues. The updates will be rescheduled for later today.

Edit: In addition to training updates, several leagues with team updates between 09:54 and 10:56 got affected. However, everything has been fixed and all the updates, training and team, have been finished now.

The transfer market were closed between yesterday morning and this afternoon, due to the access problems of Hattrick.org. With these problems (mostly) solved, we are opening the transfer again. Given that this is the last league round of the season, we needed to strike balance between extending deadline by many hours (to ensure the market finds the right price for the player) and still in time for the last league round of as many leagues as possible. For this reason, transfers have been extended in such a way that most of them have deadlines tonight between 20 and 24 CET. This gives teams a chance to bid for players, as well as a chance for managers to buy back players they no longer want to sell. We know this might not be the ideal solution for some of you, but given the circumstances, we think is the better way to handle it for the majority of teams.

Out data center experiences a disruption in their network services. They are investigating it but until everything is solved, Hattrick website and mobile app might become inaccessible or slow.

Since last week, we have improved the chances of finding a goalkeeper in both youth systems when you call your scouts. While the top goalkeepers remain unaffected, we have reduced the number of very poor ones. When we transitioned from the old scout network to the new merged system, the balance regarding goalkeepers was disrupted, resulting in an increased number of goalkeepers with very low skills.

The site seems to be working slowly, especially when logging in. We're trying to find the issue.

The first round of the Hattrick Masters has been drawn.
This is the first edition of the tournament with more than 256 teams taking part, therefore the HT Masters will have 9 rounds this season:

Because of an issue that caused it not being possible to place bids on certain players we temporarily halted the transfer market while we were working on a fix to solve this problem. The problem has been solved now and all transfers between 20:48 and 21:23 CET have been extended by one hour. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

We want to announce that Homegrown League will have 2 promotions per season going forward and until teams reach the top division. This means that the top two teams in each series at the end of the season will be automatically promoted to the next higher division. This changed is aligned with the rule we have in similar special leagues, where we provide more opportunities for growth inside the league, as well as to reduce the impact of bots. At the same time, "lucky losers" from the lower division will also get an extra promotion to replace the bots in V division.

The promotions will be handled manually and not at the same time as the rest of the leagues. This means, there will always be a gap of a few days between other leagues and HGL promotions.

Los equipos de Hattrick no han recibido el premio por posición en la liga ni por promoción como se esperaba hoy. Somos muy conscientes de esto y trabajaremos para resolver este problema lo antes posible. Es muy posible que el problema no se resuelva adecuadamente hasta el lunes, pero tengan la seguridad de que el dinero llegará.

From the next season on, the weather for the day after will not be a forecast that may or may not change, but it will show the actual weather with total certainty. This will help users set the lineup one day prior to the match knowing 100% sure what the weather will be.

Besides this, in some countries we've also changed one weather update that was too close in time to some National Team matches, in order to avoid an unlikely (but possible) situation in which a delay in the weather update could make a NT match be played with the weather of the day before. The affected countries are Liechtenstein and Finland (on Mondays), and Switzerland, Paraguay, Bolivia and Ecuador (on Fridays).

Due to several reasons, we've also had to move the match times of most of the countries on the American continent - Brazil, Panama, Uruguay, Peru, Colombia, Belize, USA, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Mexico and Argentina. After gathering feedback and votes from the local communities, we rearranged the match times from the next season onwards in the affected countries by trying to cause the least inconvenience to the local users.

The new league, Guinea, is now open and ready to welcome all the users that want to open a team there. And as to the Homegrown League, all teams and series have now been created, and there are only a few slots left for more teams.

Along with this, we want to announce that three existing leagues will expand next week, adding a fourth division to each. Those leagues are Belize, RD Congo and Botswana. These expansions will make room in the leagues both for more local users and for new additional teams, just in case you have been waiting for your chance to join.

In addition to that, we want to inform you about the rebranding of one of the new achievements after receiving feedback from several users. The "Goal-Getter" achievement has been renamed as "Club 200" and the top 2 ranks have been reduced to 150 and 200 goals.

La Liga Homegrown se inaugurará mañana por la mañana y su tamaño ahora se ha fijado en solo 5 divisiones. Esto significa que las plazas serán limitadas y, mientras escribimos esto, quedan alrededor de 200.
