An adviser guide for newbies

Hattrick Manager License consists in a joint of challenges that will help you to understand Hattrick in a better way, as well as you receive money for each challenge you finish. This is the first thing you have to accomplish and when complete, you'll have access to all features of the game. 5. Training – "Which type should I pick and how can I develop my players?"

Training is the most important thing in this game and what makes you earn money and your team competitive. The first step you should take regarding training is to pick a kind of training [I suggest to start with goalkeeping or crossing (winger), since you don’t need to spend too much money on young players to train, the training is relatively faster and with speed of profit – the disadvantage is that you can't train too many players], then buy externally a passable or a solid coach (I’d say passable with poor leadership abilities for the beginning, once it’s way less expensive) and buy young players (17 and/or 18 year old ones) to fill the available slots of training (this is, if you choose to train goalkeeping, you should buy 2 young keepers to train for some seasons, one for the league matches and another one for the friendly or cup matches). 6. Stadium – “It has only 12 000 places, should I enlarge it?”

You'll simply need to enlarge it after starting filling all places weekly, this is, about 2 or 3 consecutive weeks. Don’t commit a mistake that many newbies do when they start playing and avail to spare some money, since enlargement costs are relatively expensive. 7. Youth academy vs scouting network – “Which one should I have (if I should)?”

I advise you not to open an academy or to invest in a scouting network until you get the necessary knowledge about the game, unless you have a mentor or a person able to help you managing it, since it’s not properly an easy thing to deal with and you may spend money for nothing. If you’re really determined and available to open one, I advise you to select the academy, where you can choose the training to give to your young players from 15 years old and discover their potential before promoting them. Additionally, with a bit of luck it can give you the possibility of earning a lot of money and the wealth of a country comes from the youth academies, so in a “small” country like this one it’s always good to convince more users to open an academy, though you should have patience and time to combine senior and youth teams.
