The Jordanian Cup

Emado Ghosts managed to overcome elites in the cup final on wednesday, and have been crowned cup champions.

Emado Ghost vs Elites was the match everyone was waiting for, it was a special edition of the cup, because whoever wins it will get himself a new entry in the hall of fame. Both sides has been preparing well for this match, and mind games were spotted in both managers' announcements.

Another funny side of the story is the fact that this match is the first between these 2 sides, they have never played against each other before, and this made it more exciting, as both managers know nothing about each others.

The match has been played in Farah Arena, the stadium was sold out as 95000 spectators were there to cheer for their team. Both sides played their regular formations, as elites used his balanced 3-5-2 formation while emado ghosts used their offensive 3-4-3.

The ghosts were the first to score after 28 minutes, the story of the goal started when elites had a freekick that has been played indirectly to a striker that was surrounded by defenders that gave him no chance of doing anything with the ball, the ball has been taken by a defender of the ghosts and quickly passed forward which created a dangerous counter attack, the ball finally reached Jochen Reichenhall who had no trouble slotting it past the keeper.

4 minutes later Elites managed to score the equalizer, after Ignacio Corredor received a cross from the right and scored it from close range. The first half ended with a draw in result, but elites had the ball more with 53% possession.

The second half has been better than the first, we saw more chances on the goal for both sides, but none were scored until the 77th minute when Lucio Oya has received a brilliant pass from the left which left him in front of the goal unmarked and he had no trouble scoring that one. Just then, the ghosts discovered a weakness in the right defence for elites, and managed to attack from there more than the center, and they have been awarded with another goal as the ball came from the left side again to reach Lucio Oya and score his second and his team's third at the 83rd minute which made it clear that elites have lost, and emadoghosts are now champions for the first time in their history.

The manager of Elites was sad after the match and said "we deserved more" while the Ghosts' manager said "I cant really describe how am i feeling, it is a very very good feeling, i feel like am flying and the earth looks far away. I am proud of my squad, they are my knights and i wont forget this night as long as i am alive".

No one could deny that it was a wonderful match, and from all the workers in the newspaper, Congratulations Emado, and Hard luck sir-Abod.
