One Dream Achieved, One to Go!

Femusca86 asked me to write an article about winning the Cup.

It has been few days since the final match of Kenyan Cup and I have slowly tried to concentrate for HT again and becoming matches in a league. It has not been easy because my thoughts still go for the dramatic final.

I am not going to talk about how I won the Cup, because right now there are maybe 9 teams who have enough potential to win it. And none of them are superior to each others when it comes to only one match.

Since I started HT in season 21, I had set up 2 goals: winning the Cup and winning the League. The Cup came sooner than I may have expected, so now I have one more dream in HT to go.

I consider that my team has developed fast, but it needs to develop still faster than some of my opponent’s teams because there are some managers that I definitely think have better teams as mine. My Youth Academy has been able to train me very good players, and if there is a “secret” for my team’s growth, it is those good YA players that have brought me good money when sold. Also my three (3) best defenders came through YA –system and all of them have played in U-20 Kenya matches to get experience and they still are only 20 years of age.

The rest of the season my plans are quite open. My team is going to have hard matches ahead because of full concentration for the Cup. My team spirit is irritated so that summarizes the challenges we will have. Anyway, every match I play I play to win, so there is no need to under estimate me yet ;)
