Season 29 about to start!

Preview to Kenya's Top Series before season 29...

The Season is about to kick off this Sunday and it looks very interesting to say the least who will make the Running for the title.

Top contender certainly will be Kans again, who surely want to retain their title, but also WomiS, Benadir, Harambee and the Warriors are contenders this season, who will not make it easy for the Champions.

The 8 teams in the top flight have played a total of 826 games in Kenya's top series with Benadir and Harambee having the most games (210), followed by Brave Warriors (154), Kans (84), ##Kenya## (70), Red Tiger 72 (42) and Womis and Hazina with 28.

According to last seasons stats, Hazina and Red Tigers might have a difficult season. Benadir, is the one to watch. Will they get the results although they have mediocre stats?

Kenya will try to have a top 6 position again, but in a season or two might be strong enough to challenge for the title.

But up fron is where the fun is going to be! As mentioned before, there are 5 contenders.

1. Kans:

Kans is the current Champ. THey will try to do it again, but will be the hunted team this season. THey have the capabilities though to do it again.

2. WomiS:

WomiS was the surprise of the season last time around. Considering the the 5 contending teams, we rate them not as strong, but with surprise tactics they might pull it off again!

3. Benadir

Undoubtedly managed by the best manager in Kenya. A middle class team pulling off good results. Also according to us one of the weaker contenders of the 5.

4. Harambee

Similar to the Brave Warriors, Harambee did not always have the best of HT Luck! Will it change this season? If yes, we feel that Harambee is the Nr 1 contender for the title. But will it happen?

5. Brave Warriors

The Form books at the moment look quite good. The team did not get any new players and not having lost in 6 competitive games shows that things can be positive this season. Unfortunately managed by a really bad manager, which is their biggest defecit!

So lets see what will happen this time around. Who is my money on.....don't know!
