Season 38

Lets take a look in last season, who were the champions and how was the season for the other managers?

Have fun!

We will start in our first league, Ligi Kuu Ya Kenya.
After 14 matches the winner was: Illithids (1990721). Like you can see, this team has no longer a human manager. He had 29 points which were 4 more than our number 2 PINK PEARL ANN 1990894. The history from the Ligi KUU YA Kenya will tell us that Benadir Team (484906) is still the team with the most points ever, 490 points in 308 games played. Benadir won't have any stress that she will lose this first position very soon, because the number 2 and 3 aren't in the first league either at the moment. Real Pole Pole (1990438) (who is active in the first league) is the number 4 in the standings with 152 points, so he has still has to go a very long way to reach the top 3.

Interview with JayDoublU (12033077)

What were your expectations last season? Your best match? And what will you do different this season?

My expectations were to stay in the league and to go as far as possible in the cup. It could have worked out a little better, especially in the cup, but in the end I am okay with the way the season played out...
My best game was clearly the relegation game (555710656), which was by far the best game in the clubs history.
The goals for next season stay the same as the one in season 38.

The other big cup in our country is the Kenya Cup. In season 38 the winner was Su Lioni Sardu FC (1990748). It was a very close match (555010187), they even needed extra time because after 90' minutes the score was still 3-3. In the 103' minute Johne Niippa (322204902) scored the winning goal for manager Alex-rabbit (8202104). This cup is for him the first in Kenya, congratz!

Interview with Alex:

Last season you won the Kenya Cup, was it something you wanted from the start of last season, or did you had other goals? How did you chose the line-up for the final, did you do it like always or did you do things different? What are your goals for this season?

Well, the goal was something else at the start of season 38. I started last season dreaming to win LKYK, and to reach the final of the Kenya Cup, but my dreams start to be broken when I was defeated by Real Pole Pole in 4th league round. Meanwhile my way in Kenya Cup was going on, thanks to the fact that I used the starting lineup and my opponents were not impossible. When I reach the quarter finals against Amore&Psiche, I changed my seasonal goals because 3 days before that match I was defeated by the Bastards in the big match of LKYK. I wanted to win a title, and I decided to give my best to win the Kenya Cup, sacrificing part of the championship. I made the right choice!
The line-up for the final? I decided some days before to MOTS the match, and as I did in most of cup's matches, I chose to play with 3-5-2 to have much defense. Simba was a good team, but relationships attack/defense was at my side.
Goals for this season? In a few weeks my supporter will end, i don't know if I will renew it, at the moment I want only to play hattrick masters and to do my best, I decide after what to do!

Besides to the big cup, we also have the Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire and the Consolation Cup.

The Emerald Cup was won by E-town Bastards (484861) , this was for the manager his first big cup and after winning this one, he might want more. In the final (555107751) they needed penalties to decide which team went home with the trophy which were in the benefit of Bastards (8-9).

Interview with Vadeve:

You won last season the Emerald Cup, how happy was you after your win? What were your expectations last season, and did you reached them? What will we see this season from you?

Last season went beyond expectations, After the promotion the the first division we only had one target, stay in the Ligi Kuu Ya Kenya. Even a long time the Bastards had the lead in Ligi Kuu Ya Kenya, unfortunately the last 4 matches where lost and so we end up in 4th place. But with the expectations before the season I was happy with that spot after 14 matches.

It is always nice to win a price in a season, I was happy with winning the Emerald Cup but to be honest it isn't the same as winning the real cup or a competition. It was more like a cherry on a pie for the great season ;)

It is hard to predict what you will see this season from the Bastards. I made some changes in the team which should make my team stronger but the other teams in the Ligi Kuu Ya Kenya are not standing still as well. Also some great strong teams had been promoted! Goal for this season is again to stay in the Ligi Kuu Ya Kenya and who knows maybe it will go beyond expectations again.

_Avengers_ (1990830) won the Ruby Cup last season, so that means that after 5 seasons of the Ruby Cup, that we have 5 different winners of this cup. Benadir Team, Eelst FC, Krak ot masa, Simba and Kimba preceded him.

Also a local had his trophy, Leviticus with his team Education for Esther (1990691), won the Sapphire Cup. He won the match with 3-6 (555107748), and scored the last 2 goals in the last 5 minutes hihi!

The last cup in our country was won by _Frans_ with the team F.C. Land of Plenty (1990560). During his final (555107749) he hadn't much trouble because it was a easy win for him 0-5.

Interview with Frans:

You won the Consolation Cup last season, was you happy after the match ended? Did you used an other line-up strategy than you did normally? Was there a match what almost costed you this cup during the other rounds?

I was very happy because it was the first cup I won. :-) The Consolation Cup did not have my focus until I reached the quarter finals. After that I was more interested in which teams were left in the cup and how I could optimise my results. I did not really use a different line-up strategy for these cup matches as I was mainly focused on training my players on passing. Looking back at the 7 matches in the Consolation cup, most matches were easily won. Only the match against Lions Masai was close till the end with a 2-2 score and 13 minutes to go. Luckily, my team scored 3 goals in the last 13 minutes to win the match. This season, I hope to have a better cup run in the Kenya cup than last season.

Some other interviews about last season:

Chukcha (5424288)

What were your goals last season? What was your nicest match? Which player from your squad made you the most happy last season? What was your hardest match? And what are your goals for this season?
Last season my goal was top spot and promotion to LKYK but, unfortunately, it did not happen. The cup development made up for it though.

The nicest matches were the cup semi and final where a lot of drama took place. Crazy games with nerve wrecking endings. As far as players go, the three midfielders I bought are probably who made me the happiest as they would be the backbone of the team for seasons to come.

Hardest match was definitely the aforementioned cup final. My opponent was the favorite but largely due to loyalty and forms rather than player quality. So, I have something to look forward to.

This season I aim at promotion once again but it is going to be a tough task with so many strong teams in the group.

Joeleen83 (9842817)

What were your goals last season?

I expected a mid-table finish is the best the players I had would achieve which matched the Chala's fans expectations. I chose not to buy new players to increase Chala's cash reserves.

What was your nicest match?

The last match of the season vs title chasing RDH Lamu, (550086482) because Chala was facing relegation in 7th position before the match. A 2-1 win secured fourth position.

In which match did you made a fault (line-up etc.)?

Match (550086450) vs. 666 Exit One. I had selected a 442 formation, though it was enough to gain mid-field advantage. Chala failed to convert chances into goals. Which resulted in 2 valuable dropped points at home. In retrospect, I think a 352 formation would have collected all 3pts.

I believe this result influenced the loss that followed against stronger Land of Plenty.

What will we see from you in the future?

My hope is that Chala will challenge for Ligi Kuu football and Cup glory in seasons to come.

Vinkalan (13004148)
What were your goals last season?
My goal last season was to do better as the season before. I didn't reach my goal because I became on 4th place, the same as the season before. I had everything under controle, but I couldn't win my last match against the Sesto Rangers (484896).

What was your nicest match?

The nicest match last season was my victory (550087279) against NewMagged. My opponent was the season before 2nd in the league. So I was very happy.

Which player from your squad made you the most happy last season?

Victor Alvarez (404513019) is the player who made me most happy, because of all his goals as striker. He is 21 years old and scored already 34 times for my team. He will stay one season and than go on the TL, with good passing and supernatural scoring.

What was your hardest match?

The hardest game (550087282) for me last season was the one against Werder Revenge. When you the ratings I still don't understand that I have lost with 2-0. These points I lost where crucial.

And what are your goals for this season?

My goal this season is to do better as last season. So if I could be in the top-3 I would be satisfied. With the extra 3 players that should possible.

Senor_Raul (6558813)
What were your goals last season?

The objectives were, of course, to avoid relegation. We wanted to play successfully without compromising the training concept. This is unfortunately succeeded only at the expense of relegation.
But we gained a lot of experience in league three in our first season and be clearly enhanced return again.

What was your nicest match?

There were not so many highlights in the past season. A game that is stuck in my mind, took place in the early season. It went in the cup against Linas kicker who little later also brought the title in the Ligi Kuu Ya Kenya.
Although we lost this game, but it was an interesting evening.

Which player from your squad made you the most happy last season?

Of course I notice there spontaneously Raimaly Dilmuratov.
He scored some inserts for his country and is on the development of safe at any Lister the country's own scouts. He will lie down a successful career.
But the players that I have at the very beginning of my career purchased for my Keniy team to be great. It's nice to see how the players develop and the results are better over time. But we want to maintain our training concept and will not rush.

What was your hardest match?

I think the whole season was very tough. We have from the beginning hired too stupid to survive in this league. The early end in Kenya Cup, one or the other unfortunate result but also clear defeats. The toughest games were then these games, as the relegation was clear and you could do nothing more.

And what are your goals for this season?

It in fact is very easy for us this season. We can import Tactical formations, the training may vary slightly. Therefore, I am confident that we bring the championship and also occur in League III unlike last.

Thus there will be no more such leagues as now in the future, I call on all football fans in Kenya: Kenya, playing Hattrick. You learn to know nice people and are fun to this great online game.
