lnterview with Jamaica NT coach

KGUN13 (502874), the very new coach of Jamaica NT, answered a few questions about him, his plans regarding the qualifications, Hattrick and some other stuff.

Let's see what he said...

1. Can you tell us why you choosed to open your second team in Jamaica?

Answer: When we first had the option to put a 2nd team somewhere I wanted it to be in Jamaica because I have been there and I love the place! But I was unfortunate that I couldn't get my team in there. So I waited patiently until my chance was there and I jumped at the chance to make Jamaica my home and I intend to stay there!


2. What are your goals in this campagne? Do you have any staff to help you achive your objectives?

A: To beat the odds that we have been given going into the campaign. Not a great deal is expected of us and we intend to shock some folks! Yes, the core group that has been vital to our campaign would be dovetail (551853), Beebo (336564) and Bucky-B (11339844). All three have given me a great deal of information to think about when selecting the team and the formations for our run.

3. What can you say about NT Jamaica players? Are they good enough for a big performance?

A: We have some very strong players in certain positions, in others, we a fairly weak so we will have to determine our strengths and try to capitalize with them. If we set the right formations with the strongest players from Jamaica, I feel we can do better than our #7 seed in a very difficult group.

4. Do you prefer a certain set-up / tactic?

A: To be honest, I usually run my tactics in league play for 2-5-3 and mainly for training purposes only. I usually don't run other line ups. When it comes to Jamaica, we are trying to see what will give us our best chances against some incredible teams in Group-9 and see where the chips may fall. So to answer the main question, NO! LOL

5. What can you say about the opponents from group 9 (/World/WorldCup/?cupId=137&season=66&matchround=1&cupSeriesUnitId=1383)?


A: We are in what the New York Yankees baseball team was referred to as MURDERS ROW! This is ONE DIFFICULT group to contend with from top to bottom. Scary group and we are seeded 7th.

6. How do you prepare a match?

A: When it comes to the Jamaican team, I have three folks that have been instrumental in our preparation for this Group and for Sweden in our first match. dovetail, Bucky-B, Beebo have all put in their time to make decisions best for our squad and then I have taken their thoughts and created my own thoughts to see whom to follow more closely and I think we have come up with a solid plan. Now to see if it pays off. Picking these three great managers minds and putting it all together for one solid line up is what I use when preparing for our matches.

7. Will you accept/propose PIC deals?

A: Funny you should ask that because I have talked with two of my three people I have used as scouts and two are ex NT managers. Where I stand right now is a NO, but I haven't spoken to all three about this so they may be able to change my stance on the issue.

8. How many points do you estimate Jamaica will have at the end of qualifications stage?

A: I do not feel I should estimate but what I can say is I do believe that we will finish higher than our #7 seed.
